At least to help with next year since this is a keeper. Get some young talent, trade Troy while he's hot.

So a 25 year old stud shortstop is someone I should trade to help my future? That doesn't make sense. Pretty much my whole team is young guys. I've also had no bench most of the year because of the retarded limit of one DL spot.

 

Fair enough, What about one of my other players for Romero?

Also, we can only keep 7 so if you feel you have more than 7 players that are keep worthy you may want to trade your extra to get better.

 

At this point I really kind of just want to hold on to the young guys and see how they finish the year, then see who I want to keep from there. I drafted pretty much all young/upside guys and hoped they would perform this year, and if not I'd be set up for keepers with a good pick next year.

Also, how do you view a trade proposal before you send it? I've tried to review a Romero/Ordonez deal to see what would need to be added on either side but it just sends it.

 

I view the players that I want at the top of the screen when I am picking the players from my team I am choosing. They used to have one more screen (to confirm the trade) where they were all lined up nicely for you but it is not there any longer.

 

Yeah, that's what I was looking for, I thought I was doing something wrong. Why would they get rid of that?

 

No idea, they still have it when you pick someone off waivers but not for trades.

I understand your strategy, good luck! I picked Strasburg for the same reason. With Verlander and Pelfrey (playing the way he is) I have 3 guys who are almost locks for my seven.

 

That guy was me...and you tried to trade me Adrian Beltre a day after you picked him up off of waivers.

Like I said - If I wanted Beltre, I could have easily picked him up before you.

Jorge Cantu for Neftali Feliz was also a horrible offer. Why would I want a 1B/3B when I have Pablo Sandoval, Buster Posey, and James Loney all eligible at different corner infield spots?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but don't complain about not getting deals done when all of your offers are shitty.
