So how much fuckin longer is Giardo going to stay with Teixeira batting third? He is fuckin pathetic. Is 5 SOs in a game a major league record? It might be. The only salvation is that at the moment TB is just as bad.

There is a site called baseball-reference. It removes the need to ask these questions on an internet message board, and it also helps you remove any uncertainty. I recommend you try it.

To answer your question, no, it's not a major league record. Six is the record. Although Teixeira joins eight other players as the only ones to strike out five times more than once.

I don't fault anyone for the loss. It was a good game.

    Credit the other team.

JV with the no hitter through 4. Good chance he'll take it all the way and lose in 10. Yanks offense is putrid.

Wells breaks up the no hitter with a 2 run shot.

    On an 0-2 count, too.

good game by the Yanks......I figured the Jays bullpen would blow it.....we're about 2 years away from being dominant, so my expectations for this season aren't high.

Dominant? lmfao. Jays will never be 'dominant' in the AL East.

Actually, I wouldn't put it past them.

If their pitching continues to develop as it has been, they're going to have one of the sickest staffs in baseball, never mind the East.

Ironically, it will have that after the departure of their best pitcher.

I was thinking the same thing. These young pitchers you have can throwwwww.

Ironically, these are players Ricciardi threw together...

We've seen the Jays start hot year after year. It's a marathon not a sprint.... Ricky Romero is sick though they need to keep him long term.
