I'm on a roll, bitches! America's Hat's Team has actually been pretty damn good this year. Hopefully the Yanks will keep up the string of solid outings from their starters. They were all damn good the past time through the rotation. In fact, I think Sabathia's outing against the O's was the worst of the bunch. Friday A.J. Burnett, RHP (6-2, 3.28) vs. Brett Cecil, LHP (5-2, 3.81) Saturday Andy Pettitte, LHP (7-1, 2.48) vs. Ricky Romero, LHP (5-2, 3.14) Sunday Javier Vazquez, RHP (4-5, 6.06) vs. Brandon Morrow, RHP (4-4, 6.00)
I feel bad. I've been to Toronto. It's a nice city the stadium is in the heart of town dunno why ppl wouldn't go just to go to a game...
Nah, it's the ridiculous number of strip clubs that draw the fans! Anyway, this should be an interesting matchup. I expect another series win, though I'm not sure who I'm giving the loss to, AJ or Javy.
i'm going to be bold....and say the Jays sweep the Yanks. They should've swept the Rays earlier in the week.
2 9th inning collapses.....not to happy about that....but we owned them for the other 8 innings. which is relative to nothing, i suppose.
for those that have not watched him, his change up is quickly becoming one of the best pitches in baseball.
apparently the Jays catchers are having problems catching Romero....because his pitches have a ton of movement.
The location is great, it's just a bad stadium that is over priced. I've got tickets to the Giants/Jays game on the 19th, and they would have cost me $226 bucks each if I didn't get them for a gift. They're in the middle deck, behind home plate...$226 for 2 mediocre teams, x2 for a couple going. If I'm going to spent $500 bucks to watch 1 game, it's going to be a World Series or All Star game or something. There's so much else going on in the area aswell. Lots of shows and shopping. I've spent 2 hours at the sporting goods store around the corner from the stadium and not even realised it. Plus, the Blue Jays cannot put out a consistant contender. Everyone in Toronto is jaded with the direction they were going the last decade, so it's going to take some time for the new GM, Alex Anthwrjifnaegjipbv to build a contender and get a vibe going in the city. Yankees are goign to slap the Jays and take this series.
