I just got my Jimmy Leonhard #36 replica jersey from the Jets Shop and I noticed that not only is a much nicer mesh used than my Sanchez replica from last year, but that the green is much lighter. The jerseys that I had bought in each of the past two offseasons used the same darker, more olive green. Did anyone else find that their jersey colors changed from last offseason to this one?
I've noticed this in the past, but I think the colors just vary slightly based on each production season. My Ty Law jersey is a lighter color than my JCo and Sanchez jerseys (none of them are knockoffs). It might also depend on which factory the jerseys are made at.
Buy a knockoff from China. Cheaper. I have a Favre replica from NFL.com that was two shades of green. I was disappointed in the product.
I bought a Revis jersey in the parking lot last year off a dude, $50, has stitched-on numbers, etc. The font for the name isn't the actual one the Jets have always used but aside from that the jersey is nice and it's a very dark green, like the real ones worn in the game.
