Edwin Jackson sure was dealing today.

123 pitches, 9 innings, 3 hits, no runs, 3 walks... and a no decision.

0-0 in the 14th. He's been struggling this season (3-6, 6.03), so Arizona has to be encouraged with the start.

The Dodgers have been starting a reliever, really, so their bullpen is really toasted now. Monasterios only allowed 2 hits and no walks, but came out after 5.

 

Griffey is finally retiring, according to Wakamatsu. It was sad to see him struggle so much after returning to Seattle. He has nothing left and this decision is overdue.

 

Sad day for me...Griffey was my childhood hero.
