I agree. Honestly I'd expect that type of shit from Victorino, J-roll, or Hamels. Not Charlie Manuel though. Wouldn't expect him to say something like that, but he did.
This is stupid to me. What? The Royals are bad? SHOCKING!!! Teams like KC and the Pirates, who KNOW they are going to be bad really have no reason to fire managers midseason. It's not like Hillman was what was holding them back.
I agree. Spending your money on Gil Meche and Jose Guillen is not helping matters. Why fire a manager? No one you bring in is going to make this team good. Aside from the fact that it's not Hillman's fault, now this just costs them more money. I guess they want to pretend they're doing something. Fire Moore.
Not only this, but I think a team like Pitt really needs to address the development program/philosophy they're running with their team. They've actually had quite a few talented young arms come through their organization over the past 7-8, and they've done nothing with them but let them turn to shit. I think the biggest case of their muffups was after Zack Duke's rookie year where they made him change his throwing motion for whatever reason, and he's never had the same type of success he had his first year up in the bigs. More or less the same type of 'not-flourishing' development with their positional prospects, though McCutchen looks to be the goods.

Kendry Morales seemed like he severely injured his ankle while celebrating his game winning slam. And why this upsets me, he is one of my top 2 fantasy players . I always thought this would happen one day, you have a guy trying to jump onto a plate surrounded by a million people ready to attack.
was able to tune into watch just as the announcer started screaming about PERFECT GAME second perfect game of the season! Halladay does it. 1-0 win over the Marlins
What's that have to do with anything? I was just commenting that he got killed his last start, then threw a perfect game this time. I'll give you a pass since Padres fans don't really know what it's like to have a decent record, but there really isn't any need to be a douchebag here. Also, it's 5 games over .500. If you're going to be a snide little prick at least get it right.
Actually, at the time he made his post, it was still four games over .500. But I think we all get the gist. Probably would have been better served by just saying, "fourth place team."
Why the fuck is Ozzie Guillen having alexi ramirez try to steal a base with no one out after a stretch that included 5 straight batters reaching base and jayson nix hitting a grand slam?
If I was an astros fan and i paid money to go to todays game id want to rip the home plate umpires head off.
