3 games... it's like an epic span of time. They must have been dying for even a pathetic 3 game streak to brag about after getting crushed throughout the decade.

Yeah, seriously. Didn't we own the Dolphins for a few season straight during the HERM era no less?

The Fins do realize they are about to celebrate 40 years since their last Super Bowl right? Its a couple of years away.

    This writer is smoking crack.

who had the #1 D last year?

Who had the #1 rushing attack last year?

Who went to the AFC championship game Year?

Our teams are not even close.

Yes its about to be 41 years. I'm aware of it and accept the history of the team.

But Fin fans act like it hasn't been nearly 4 decades. They act like they won it 4 years ago.

The Fins are just as irrelevant.

I get that 1973 doesn't roll of the tongue like 1969, but it doesn't matter.

That is the thing I abttle w/ them most about. They act like they are the Yankees of the NFL and have won a million championships when in fact they have just TWOP SB titles and their last title was 1973 while our only title was 1968- that's only a 5 year difference and I wasn't alive for any of them and I'm headed now in my mid 30s.

This talk of the Dolphins being on par with the Jets is even more moronic than the Jets talk after the 10-6 2006 season about the Jets challenging the Pats for the division. Ugh.

They are obsessed with the Jets... have you tried reading the newspapers down here? Theres always at least one article written about us... Its like dolphins fans feel inferior and have to say something to make themselves feel better about themselves

Every time a Phin fan flies they must hate it because they're riding a Jet.

I vow to never ride a Dolphin.

I dont think the dolfans have any idea how ridiculous this defense is going to be this year. it probably wont sink in until week 3 when their precious henne and marshall get raped.

I think you guys forget that no one could stop our (the dolphins) ground attack last year, which allowed us to finish 1st in 3rd down conversions. If Ronnie hadn't gotten hurt, we would have easily led the league in rushing...we were that far ahead of everyone else. This, and we added a highly thought of guard in Incognito and the best wr in the AFC east, Brandon Marshall, who will also help the rushing game as he's one of the best blocking wr's in the game. Jason Taylor will certainly not be helping to stop our running game, you guys know first hand that he is easily ran through, and to say he won't be in the game on running downs isn't correct either, as the Dolphins excelled last season in running the ball effectively on 3rd down.

I just don't understand why you guys think it's going to be so easy to stop the Miami Dolphin offense, we've transformed a solid offense into a potentially unstoppable one.

Marshall is neutralized by Revis, I don't get why you don't get that

From there our defense has only gotten better. Game 2 last year the Phins offense could not move the ball.

Because the 2nd time the Jets played the Dolphins last year the Dolphins had 104 net yards? And Brandon Marshall will be a non-factor? So why will it be so much harder for the Jets to stop them?

And I love how Dolphins fans say "Oh if Ronnie Brown didn't get hurt" or "when Ronnie is healthy yada yada". Ronnie Brown is ALWAYS hurt. Every single year. He has only 1 year over 1,000 yards (and it was by 8) and they act like he's Adrian Peterson or something. He probably won't even be on the field the second time the Jets and Dolphins play this year.

Oh and btw, Richie Incognito sucks. He's more likely to get a few personal fouls and be benched like he was by the Rams than to make the Dolphins the #1 rush offense.

What I don't understand is why Fins fans think so highly of Richie fucking Incognito. The dunce was let go by two of the worst teams in the league with two of the worst o-lines in the league the past year. You all talk shit about the Bills o-line all the time. Now that he's wearing Aqua and Orange he's a beast though.

Why are you so sure Ronnie Brown is going to be as good or remain healthy?

because you are probably the only person in the entire planet that the thinks the Fins offense will be potentially unstoppable. do you even know what offenses in the history in the NFL even rank as unstoppable? '98 Vikings. '99 Rams. '07 Pats. '90 49ers. The Fins offense, even at its best, won't be anywhere near those offenses.

potentially unstoppable...the only thing unstoppable is the stupidity of your post.
