I mostly blame Heilman, for what it's worth. Though Floyd and Beltran deserve some blame.

Oh, and I have a TERRIBLE feeling we're going to lose this game. I feel pretty confident, despite the odds.

While he was a Met Clifford was always one of my favorites because he was a gamer. However, the fact that he couldn't make the slightest bit of contact on that absolute gift of a pitch will always make me qweezy.

We were far and away the best team in 06, and this is all with both Duaner and Pedro hurt. Then we get to that series, and the fucking mediocre ass Cards decide to get on a hot streak in the playoffs. Trachsel and Heilman fuck up, and Cliff misses that pitch. We really were the best team in 06. Fuck the Cards. What could have been.....

When Endy made that catch, I thought it was destiny. I thought we'd win the game, go on to win the series, and go on to be champs. That was our high point for the past decade, and we've been reeling downward ever since.

I think Mota is a bigger goat then sourpuss and Trachsel, he was the guy that fell apart in what would have given the Mets a 2-0 series lead. The Mets had dominated both games 1 and 2 and then Mota came apart at the seams in that 7th inning with 2 outs. After we crushed them in game 4 I thought for sure heading back to NY tied we would win the last 2 and of course Glavine got outpitched by Jeff fucking Weaver. The thing with Floyd was when he did make contact he couldn't even make it down the line. I still think if Sanchez doesn't egt into that accident we win the series. Mota came over mid year after that and the team and bullpen was never the same. They still haven't recovered.
