I haven't heard a peep about Paulie, but I can do without Tino. The few times I heard him earlier this year he wasn't very impressive. You know who I'd like to hear in the broadcast booth? Kim Jones. She said on Twitter the other day that there was zero chance of that though.
As expected, Yanks called up Moeller for backup catcher. Johnson to the 60-day DL to avoid a 40-man move. This is all Cashman's fault for not having an All-Star caliber third catcher waiting in AAA. What kind of GM puts together a roster with a shitty third catcher?!
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, Kim Jones kinda does it for me. And her voice is just straight up sexy. AND she knows baseball. That's a pretty hot package.
Dudes. Dudes. No. Just... no. And that's ignoring the fact that she's bangin' Michael Kay (according to the rumors, of course).
Kevin Russo and Chad Moeller got the callup. Supposedly there's still one more move to be made. Posada is officially on the DL. Melancon was optioned. I wonder if Golson will be called back up. I guess they weren't at all impressed? At least he's fast.
They need to rent a bat for a month...I dunno who, I dunno where from, but they need to get one outside of the organization
No they don't. Swisher and Granderson will both be back soon. And Golson is probably not back up because they need to wait ten days after optioning him.
As I mentioned earlier, Jermaine Dye is still sitting at home. As long as he's hasn't let himself go he's an option. Bernie Williams still wants another chance to show he can play. As a DH I'd give him a shot. I don't know about Sheffield though, but I guess if he can hit, he can DH. To think, Xavier Nady spent all off-season trying to find a job. He's not playing wonderful, but his numbers are better than Winn's.
