From what I've read, Eric Bischoff hates "ugly women wrestling", which is why the bigger women are getting axed from TNA. Mickie James was released, in part, because shes gained weight. She's also more into doing her country music thing now, so she may not have any interest in TNA anyways.
That article couldn't be more wrong. Shelton doesn't need Haas or Angle to succeed. Secondly, the "Team Angle" tag team was NOT the height of Benjamin's career, it was probably when he was the Intercontinental Champion for a few months. If Shelton reunited with Charlie Haas I think it would only hurt him in the long run. He has enough trouble looking out for his own career and doesn't need the headache of trying to carry Haas again.
I wonder how long they'll tease this E + C fued before they finally pull the trigger. I can remember them giving clues to a possible fued from as far back as backlash right after Christian won the world title and Edge confronted him about it. Later on in the pay-per-view after it went off the area, Christian came out to help attend to John Cena who had got thrown into the spotlight by Big Show but apprently after the event went off the air, Christian and Edge had a staredown, theres a pic of this somewhere. Fast forward to Smackdown this past Tuesday, we finally get another in ring type reunion with Edge completing his heel turn and them brawling in the ring. I feel each of these guys are probably 2 of the top 5 wrestlers in the company right now and they could probably put on awesome matches while fueding. I think a great way to finally get the fued going is by having Christian finally winning a world title and then having a jealous Edge attack im afterwards. Theres no way WWE can avoid having them fued, too many people want it right now. By the way, why in the world did they break the story of Edge and Christian being brother, now they're only friends who have known each other their whole lives, just a fucking fail on WWE's part.
The Christian and Edge promo on Friday was insane and intense..too bad the crowd killed it. Now Vince and the WWE will think nobody cared about this promo and continue to not push Christian..sigh
I think Ted Dibease or whatever just became my hero. He insulted R Truth whom I can't stand. That was HILARIOUS.
Yeah well it was such a long time ago most people wouldn't even remember. Also, they ARE best friends in real life so why not carry that storyline? HAHHA I didn't see that but it's about time. They were gonna go under in a hurry if they stayed on monday nights.
It would have made an even better if they did a jealous brother type storyline. Also, anyone that was a hardcore fan 8-10 years ago and still watches today will remember and asking why the fuck they changed the storyline.
Watched some of TNA, it was brutal. Seeing 90 year old flair and 70 year old Hogan face off with 50 year old sting later....yowser.
But, ummm...Bret with a belt? No. Really, we all know he's past done, he didn't even do anything to earn it tonight. He's going to really get hurt in a very shitty "match" in the near future, most likely at the next PPV.
Yeah really great, a lot of back and forth action. It was pretty obvious Edge was gonna win but still probably the best match anyone has seen on Raw in a long long time.
I remember being shocked at the Edge Christian match and thinking it easily could have been a PPV match. It's a shame the WWE doesn't do this anymore.. you know.. have actual matches. Even if they only had 1/2 of those a night in addition to the current/usual crap they do, they'd probably make a much more consistent viewer out of me and many others.
I'm confused bout the CM Punk vs Rey match at Over the Limit..didn't they have this same match and stipulation at the last PPV where if Rey lost (and he did) he'd have to join the SES..?
