I think this is my favorite part of the article. There was a thread on Kroul (I think MrE started it) and he sounds like an interesting prospect. With Rex and Company's ability to coach up undrafted players, he could have a chance. And the Jets will definitely need some help at DT.

Here's a better Slauson article from the official site - some fluff, more detail.

marques colston, jay ratliff and theres plenty more ... i think slausen will win the job and be a slight downgrade in run blocking but a huge upgrade in pass blocking

Rooting for them all, good to read.

Kroul developing into a role player? That would be awesome. But shouldn't he consider beefing up closer to 300 to play NT?

You obviously have never met ManlyGenius - he will set you straight on these issues. No 6th round left guard born on a Tuesday in December and having a birthmark on his right shoulder can ever be successful in this league.

I'm not the biggest In-N-Out homer, in fact I think it's a little overrated, but you are COMPLETELY out of your mind.

And I agree, In N Out is much better than McDonalds, but that is my opinion.

Is anyone else concerned that the guys are playing 'corn hole' in the locker room?

My God, you all are junk food addicts! It will catch up with you. Watch the movie "Super Size Me" and you'll never eat fast food again.

Yes, because I go to fast food joints about two or three times a year.

    I'm doomed.

If your worried about atheletes eating unhealthy foods like in n out which isnt even that bad just look at Michael Phelps diet. Dude eats retarded amounts of fatty food and is i dont know the greatest swimmer in the world.

In-N-Out is fresh, never frozen BEEF hamburgers made to order.

McDonalds is assholes and bones from god only knows what kind of creatures.

There really is no comparison. And I feel bad for anyone that would have to see a movie to know that too much fast food is bad for you.

I don't think 2-3 times a year would hurt ya, but 2-3 times a week would.

I'm not a junk food addict, but I have eaten at both In-And-Out and McDonald's and there is really no comparison. It look like you are speaking from ignorance rather than experience.

Was Sanchez smoking a cigarette when he went for his burger? Can we burn him yet?

In-N-Out is the best. Fresh potatoes. Double-double with grilled onions.

And they pay their employees $10.75 an hour (last I heard), more than the minimum wage ($8?) BK and McDonalds pay their wage slaves.

Too bad I never ran into LT there when I lived in SD.

Poor Slauson doesn't rate as high as In-N-Out Burger.
