http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/13655/video-jets-team-to-beat-in-afc-east Normally I wouldn't post something like this... but if you guys are as bored as am during the off-season you'll watch it anyway. If you seek additional entertainment scroll down below the video and read some of the comments... some of them are just gold... Priority75 writes... "NE SIX SB's! FINS FIVE SB's! BILLS FOUR SB's! YETS................ ......ONE SB! What a PATHETIC JOKE of a franchise! 8-8 this season! BANK IT!" This priority person makes RaiderJoe look intelligent... he/she is rating franchise success by SB appearances ... eesh...
Well we will have to see what happens in the upcoming season. Hopefully that clown will be eating his words. I mean the jills may have made it to 4 SB but, they are o fer those SB appearances. The J!-E!-T!-S! JETS! JETS! JETS! are undefeated in SB appearances so that has to count for something,:breakdance:
I don't understand why so many media outlets are discounting the Patriots. The Dolphins I can see falling on their faces, but the Pats? They haven't had a losing season since 2000, and still have the two biggest factors for their success: Brady & Bellichick. This division has only gotten tougher. We've made some big strides this offseason, but have added plenty of question marks as well. Why the media continues to label us as the favorites, I can't grasp.
Mike Golic has a history for picking against the Patriots on a regular basis. That's fine, it's his opinion. That being said, I think he might just be right for the upcoming season. The Patriots are getting older and have lost most, if not all of those players who were the leaders in the locker room and on the field. Unless someone steps up this season, the Patriots will make the playoffs as a wild card team, but not win the AFCE (I agree that Miami is still rebuilding and Buffalo is just Buffalo). All teams add and lose players every off-season. The Patriots have lost and added some players this offseason but I think the JETS have done a remarkable job solidifying themselves into a position that might just give them the AFCE title this season. I'm looking forward to playing the the AFC Championship game vs the Patriots in NJ two weeks prior to the Super Bowl.
Yea this video told me nothing I didn't already know. We're the shit we've all known that since Rex came on board. Pointless video but nice to hear another analyst say the Pats time is done for now.
yeah I was hesitant to bother posting it... as it wasn't really news... but the last couple weeks have been drawling as far as the NFL is concerned. Especially with Jets news.
Yes but this video incited you to post here which gave me yet another chance to look at your avatar. And I thank you kind sir.
Esperanza Gomez. She is NSFW. Took me a minute to find a pic of her with clothes on. And I'm thinking about changing it to a new chick. Haven't decided yet though. Maybe I should start a poll.
Meanwhile, in other news, Jason La Canfuckwit... "AFC East -- Winners? New England. I expect the Dolphins to make a push and have a feeling the Jets will end up being a nine-win team again this season, without the playoff heroics. The Patriots remain the class of the division. Belichick will tighten up the defense, Randy Moss will be motivated in what amounts to a contract year, Tom Brady will be better in his second full season after surgery, and the draft will yield dividends."
God I hate La Canfora, the guy is completely useless when it comes to football analysis. He's always in favor of the Patriots anyway, always... The only thing he's good for is getting information on new contracts now and then.
I still laugh at Dolphin fan comments every time I read them Before Marshall, they all wrote the season off as being under .500... They pick up an elite receiver and now they are 11-12 game winners. And it really never matters that Rhodes missed the coverage on the Ginn TD, "He burned Revis." And how can't these people NOT count out the Bills, they are a joke right now.
Jpic must be a discourages Bills fan or something... "You can't win with a terrible QB and Sanchez is terrible.. He threw like 7 picks to the Bills." I guess that means Ken Stabler was a terrible QB too. Being a SB champ and former league MVP doesn't make up for the 7 interception game.
One thing I've never gotten about that argument is that it's not anyone in this organization's fault that the Jets haven't been to a Super Bowl in over 40 years. Only the Patriots have been to a Super Bowl this decade so whatever. It's a "win now" league so if a team in this division wins the Super Bowl now, that's all that matters.
