I know my view is completely biased which is why I avoid talking about Tebow generally, but I have to say, the part I bolded about the speech has to be one of the most moronic things I've ever read. Do you have any idea what the Gators did after that "corny as shit" speech? They won a national title and 22 straight games (23 of 24 to close out Tebow's career). Call it corny all you want, the bottom line is it lit a fire under his team. He did his job. He was the leader of the team and that speech proved it. As for Tebow as a pro..Yeah he has his problems and very possibly could turn out to be a complete bust as a QB. But, having watched this guy since his Senior year in HS, I wouldn't bet against him. All he does is win.

the wonderlic story is not even true. players who sat around him shot down the story. ONLY Profootballtalk, the freaking tmz of football news came up with this and tried to give it legs listen, why everyone expresses their disgust for tebow I dont know. id rather watch him play than kerry rhodes or some other dude just collecting their paycheck. at the very least he adds interest to his team. perhaps if people didnt feed into his media exposure, they wouldnt feel compelled to express how bad he will fail. to express such certainty about anything in this league is flawed, also when you just repeat what everyone else is saying, it gets old QUICK. undrafted players have become superstars, 10-6 teams beat 16-0 teams, steelers have image problems, people have no idea whats gonna happen.
Would not shock me. I guess there will be a lot of Tebow jerseys in Churches because I can't think of one good reason why a Broncos fan would buy his jersey and believe in this guy to be a quality NFL starting Quarterback.

Good for Tebow. I think he doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL QB, but I think he proved God's existence by going in the 1st round.
