Now the reporters have told me they are using my figures on PSL sales to force Jets to reveal true PSL sales to date. Rowonejetfan will be soon rowonedeadjetfan!!! I hope I did right thing!
It says right at the top that we don't know if this is factual. Obviously they know what the deal is too- Congrats though-
Yeah dude, not for nothing, but when I went on my tour and the rep and I discussed PSL's, I told her her info was wrong and that I new the real actual numbers. She asked how I knew this stuff and I told her I get all my info from some dude who goes by the name of RowOneJetFan in Jets message boards. She wasn't too thrilled. They might be looking to Iggy your ass if you don't watch out.
Funny but why didn't the reporters calling Rowone do the dirty work themselves. This has been discussed numerous times in differing media types. I am surprised there hasn't been a peep until now.
Funniest ever, Jets thrrough a reporter corrected me said, the 20K seats sold pretty well. They sold first 20 rows out already and all seats near top by GHC sold, I guess claiming it is $600 one seat over in GHC , even if one seat over makes it look like a bargin. Of course then in 15K they a had a pair open in 111a row 24 on aisle by 111c last night. Who the helll turned down those seats in the 15K Jets side to buy row 20 in the middle on Jets side for 20K. Too bad Jets don't let you downgrade. Point of exercise is it was over 95% right, someone has to put together the numbers and publish it to force Jets to correct the numbers and give us all real figures.
I don't know why anyone would expect a company selling a product to reveal the true sales numbers when they are trying to sell at a certain price?
So if this is true, and Woody is stubborn with lowering prices are we looking at a potential local blackout? Do u guys think this could happen?
The media continues to assure Jet fans that we will not be blacked out. Unless Woody or the NFL buys the open seats, or the NFL just plain lifts it for the Jets games ( Lion fans would be pissed), I can't see how we are going sell out every game? The Giants only have club seats left, and those don't count for the blackout. Imagine if opening night was not sold out. That would quite a statment from Jet fans.
This. Does anyone seriously think that Johnson would rather have seats empty than open them up on a game-by-game basis if necessary? It's April - of course the Jets are not going to entertain the possibility of PSL seats going unfilled. If they're still unfilled in August, they'll be opened up on a game-by-game basis and will sell out immediately. There aren't going to be any blackouts.
No chance in hell CBS/ESPN/NFL Network/NBC will allow the #1 market in the country go black on game day. The seats will all "magically" be sold. Count on it. This isn't the 70's anymore. Too much revenue for the networks is on the line.
