1) it's incredibly weak to tell someone to check the stats and then try to dismiss or qualify those stats. 2). Bush returns punts. Washington returns kicks. There is a huge discrepancy between the numbers in those two categories. 3) Bush has been more productive. Period. Double the TDs speaks volumes, and your "force feed" argument doesn't explain Bush only getting 15 touches per game. I happen to think Leon COULD have been better if his potential became production, his flashes more consistent, and if he were used properly. That's just not what happened.
don't forget Leon is three years older than Reggie.... I think there's gonna be a break out year in Reggie's near future... Leon has always been a steady and flashy player, even at FSU, but he has NEVER shown that extra gear that Bush showed down the stretch last year and throughout his career at SC. The Saints don't win the Super Bowl last year without Reggie Bush.......... period.
We can go on and on about this. Let's just agree to disagree. I'll take Leon and you guys can take Reggie and Jarron Gilbert.
I love this. Big surprise, somebody starts running circles around Mr. E in a discussion, and here comes all his little followers to try to help him out. We all know you have an axe to grind with Leon for some reason, but any objective person who watches the games and sees the stats can see that Leon is every bit the player Bush is. Peace.
Running circles? Stop being a simpleton. I own you. Iggy and I posted the damn stats. Bush has better stats, by far. How can you not see that? Leon Washington WAS a good player. He wasn't going to be a Jet in 2011, so the Jets got some value out of him before he bolted for free agency. I lost a ton of respect for the guy when he demanded a Jones-Drew type contract. People like to blame Alvin Keels for this entire situation...Washington's the one that hired that idiot.
I don't understand this argument. It's kinda silly to me. They are both productive players, they are good at the tasks they are handed on the field. That's all that matters.
FYP.......... She wears the pants. He gets married and all of a sudden there are problems. Go figure, whats her name Yoko Ono?
I'm sorry? I responded to you, and prior to your discussion with Mr. E. I would hope you could find something in the substance of my last post to respond to.
Nope. Even that one goes back to Keels since he's the one who introduced Leon to her. I'm convinced he knew he could use her to keep Leon in check, and I guarantee she's been a big part of why he's remained satisfied with Keels and one of his clients. Big old clusterfuck going on in Leon's life.
Wait, I thought Charity introduced Leon to Keels? Either way, it's still his decision to hire him and listen to only them, if that is the case.
