Marlon Lucky could be someone who could stick around. Good RB Edit: Maybe not? I can't find any scouting reports on him. Did he not play last year or something
Lucky played in the UFL last season. He's not a rookie. I still think he'll give Chauncey Washington a run for his money. Lucky is a great receiver out of the backfield - I know that he caught over 130 passes in his career at Nebraska.
Manish Mehta put out a list of players participating in the Rookie Mini-camp/Tryouts this weekend: TJ Raymond's name isn't on here. Did we let him go, did he change his mind and sign with someone else, or is this a mistake on Mehta's part? I cannot find anything on it.
Talked to my sister about Marlon Lucky this morning. She hadn't heard about the TO, but sent him a txt. His response? "Yep. Excited, healthy, and ready to roll. Can't wait." FWIW, he's one of her favorite guys ever to come through the facility.
The Marcus Burton guy seems a good size for ilb , 6ft 1 / 261 lbs. Who knows what we turn up but Tanny has a nose for these guys thats for sure
The Jets signed two more undrafted free agents. They are LB Broderick Stewart from Vanderbilt and OT Matt Stommes from Minnesota.
Found these pre-draft comments on other blogs about Donovan Warren's combine results: Could explain his fall from grace and in to our UDFA laps. FWIW ...
No way does Lowery get cut. He is a very good CB. Not a #1, but one of the better nickel CBs in the league. Look at his ratings on football outsiders, Lowery is really underrated.
I agree, I like having Lowery- I hate don't get all the hate for him. Sure he gets beat sometimes, but not everyone can be Revis, for Revis Sake.
