I'm excited about the 2010 offense, but knowing that this defense is gonna be better makes me so pumped. Gone are those days when I watch the highlights of the Ravens, Steelers on ESPN and wonder how nice it'd be if my team can play defense like that. This offseason is just too long!
Yeah, having Revis play so well last year made me forget how great David Harris is. Calvin Pace also not looking too shabby.
Anyone else get really pumped up watching the vid and then feel like they want to vomit after seeing us up 14-6 on the Colts and recovering that fumble at their 30 yard line in the AFCCG. ughhh
It's a great feeling that this defense is going to be better next season. Jenkins, Cromartie, Wilson and Taylor added to the defense that we saw in the playoffs? Wow!
How can you not love that vid, and what rex did to change our defense from 2008 to 2009 with essentially the same personnell. Rex and Pettine are defensive awesomeness
No way the defense busts with Rex at the helm. It's a lot harder for a defense to bust than an offense to bust because the offense is so dependent on the QB while a defense is heavily dependent on scheme. Rex has coached big-time defense for years, it's not like no one expected us to play good defense last season.

Agreed. Ravens D was always top 5 no matter how pedestrian their offense was. You can't attest 10 years of great D to Ray Lewis alone. Even with Reed they need more than the 2 players to be great. This D is gonna be sick. Even with the mercs like Cro & JT on the team. They are all gunning for an SB win.
That. Was. Awesome. I hope Jim Leonhard is on this team for the rest of his career...or at least the rest of his productive career. Anyone find it weird that both of Lowery's interceptions looked exactly the same?
Great D, but we have to turn that pressure into wins. Hopefully the O will not be so reliant on the D next season.
