I have a strong feeling he'll sign with the Dolphins, HOWEVER, after having been through a 16-0 season only to LOSE in the playoffs, he may want another realistic chance.
I don't see us competing for him, but if we are his best available it is an easy choice. He is a Rex guy, and it gives us more reason to cut ties with BT. Taylor/AT would be a nice upgrade. While his play slipped in NE I think it has just as much to do with scheme and falling out of favor with the coaching staff. Would still be an upgrade to BT.
If AT were in the mix, we could keep our OLBs soooooooo fresh (and so clean). It would help keep JTs reps down so that he could be ready to unleash hell in the postseason [hopefully].

There's really no need to cut anyone to add him. Westerman can return to playing ILB like he did for much of last season, Gholston has already been moved to DE. It just means tough shit for one of the UDFAs that we may have been hoping to develop.

What if Gholston gets outperformed by one or two of the UDFAs? I'd love it if he got the axe over getting outperformed by UDFAs at two positions in consecutive years. I'm sorry. I just thought that the one fact that was stated on this site more than any other could have been assumed.
