His field-vision looks very good.. can make people miss and has the speed to match. Breaks a lot of tackles too against some stout competition - wasn't playing cupcakes in I-AA.

My doubts for him are in the way he holds the football. Looks fumble prone. Also when he goes backwards in his run (end-around style) to hit the home-run. That won't fly in the NFL.

Tom Brady was taken on the 199. Giving up the chance to accidentally find a star player as often as the Jets do is going to come back and bite them in the ass eventually.

Jason Ferguson was drafted by the Jets in the 7th round in 1997 and he has sat in the middle of good to great 3-4's most of his career and a couple of good 4-3's.

Did we really need Joe McKnight badly enough that we would give up the chance to find a diamond in the rough to draft him? We seem to do this every year.

Oh, and Leon is probably toast now. Really stupid move in my opinion.

there is only 1 tom brady take a guess at the total number of 5-7 round picks over the entire course of the NFL draft, we are talking thousands of picks, and Brady is the only one of his kind.

I would give up that 1/1000 of a chance to grab "the next brady" for a guy this staff is 100% confident in with Mcknight.

Hated this. McKnight never lived up to his hype, never stayed healthy except this past year, and is fumble prone. Totally ruined my draft Saturday.

Love this pick. Guy was projected as a third rounder almost everywhere. Great receiving back. Awesome pick. Enough of the BS about these remaining D line guys, they know what they're doing. All these guys that most of you have been crying about, are guys who remain out there, almost round after round. Guys crying about Cam for hours, meanwhile round after round and he's still available.

Why? this better be the best fullback ever. Or we better have given up our 7th for SEA 5th.

Anyone have anything on this guy?

Now we're just going to have to spend ANOTHER pick on a RB next year to replace LT.

I really like the way this kid runs. He has a great quick juke move and isn't afraid to put his shoulder down (even with his size).

Where have you seen him as a third round pick? ESPN has him as a 50 overall (not good) and only 2nd best FB, NFLdraftscout has him as their 223rd ranked player and only 3rd best FB, NFLDC has him as a late rounder/udfa.

Yeah, because giving up Leon wasn't enough. We had to sweeten the deal by throwing in #236 as well. WTF? I'm going to throw up. FBs are a dime a dozen.
