McKnight rushed for more than 1,000 yards in 2009. He was very consistent this season.

In the previous seasons, their backfield was just really crowded. McKnight really stepped up his game when Stafon Johnson went down.

...because McKnight's a much better prospect?

Ask the other 31 NFL franchises? We chose the RB we liked, apparently.

Gotta agree. Out of the box thinking, but a good pick. If anyone knows it's you. this guy has a serious nose for the end zone.

I'd take McCluster and Best over McKnight but in terms of speed and gamebreaking potential, McKnight would be 4th on my list.

Just wish it was done on a much more consistent basis. When he had great games, he had GREAT games. But then there were 10 rushes for 35 yard days in the mix too.

Here's a great stat: Joe McKnight has never lost a fumble.

McNight pretty much spells the end of Leon. You do not make this pick without something up your sleeve.

Thats why I love it. You guys can knock the pick because it wasn't defense, but if we were going offense, Mcknight is about as good as it gets in the draft. The kid will be a great change of pace back for Greene. Leon will be moved eventually for something, and as a result we needed to go get his replacement. I think he probably would have slid to us... but that's neither here nor there.

Rather than being pissed we didnt draft defense, be excited we draft another great guy for us in the 4th!

Our screen game struggled last year even with Leon in the mix...McKnight will help in that regard mightily

THIS ... plus didn't Dwyer fail his drug test at the NFL Combine?

Wow, just thinking about it....you're looking at Greene and McKnight in the backfield for the next 4 or 5 years, minimum. Not too fuckin' bad.

For our style of running? Dwyer is more of a between the tackles style runner, and he can take a beating.

Mr. E, what do you think of Myron Rolle? I am bummed that we didn't draft Major Wright.

The Jets are more than likely hoping that he'll have those GREAT games now that he's a Jet.

McKnight has ideal size. McCluster doesn't. That's what separates the two when they line up at receiver.

I'm not sure if Best or McCluster will be able to take the NFL punishment. McKnight has more potential and a higher ceiling than McCluster.

Jahvid Best is an amazing player. It's just a shame that he can't stay healthy.
