I understand where you're coming from, but Leon Washington has value. Even now. To me, this is all about Alan Keels. McKnght's a good RB, has a nose for the end-zone, but they don't want to deal with Keels and his constant chirping and twittering. He's already cost Leon a HUGE payday, and now, he's getting him run off this team.

Eagles might take a chance on him.

The only pass rusher we have is a former dolphin/dancer....We had one of the worst pass rushes last year and they draft a RB?

We shall see. I am not as high on McKnight as others but I am trusting the Jets FO on this as they always pull out 4th round gems.

He was just way too inconsistent for my taste. He would pull out a monster game one Saturday and then for the next 2-3 Saturdays would drift off into doing almost absolutely nothing.

He'll be a great story on Hard Knocks though.......he's a cocky character.

McKnight underachieved because everyone compared him to Reggie Bush.

In a crowded backfield, McKnight was always one of SC's starting tailbacks.

He rushed for over 1,000 yards in a RBBC that always used about three highly rated backs. That's pretty impressive.

In my opinion, McKnight the second most versatile running back in this draft...behind CJ Spiller.

McKnight's YPC has always been very high too.

Really? I thought they said he had started running. Breaks are relatively easy to repair, and the strength of mend assessed; it isn't like a ligament, whose propensity for damage again is unknown. Often breaks mend stronger than they were, so as long as his leg has set properly then it's merely an exercise in regaining fitness levels.

I can definitely see a team considering a ready made starting RB like Washington worth a pick or two.

The purpose of the pass rush isn't to get sacks. It's to limit the passing game. I'd say we were just fine. I'd love to see our sack numbers rise this season too, but let's not pretend we weren't effective at rushing the QB just because our sack numbers were down.
