this pick is questionable... joe mcknight fumbles the ball way too much but can make the big play

I wanted another RB for fresh legs late in the season ala Greene last year, but I was thinking more of a bigger guy. But yeah, Leon's gone, you can't confuse the significance of this pick for anything else.

3rd down guy who tries to hit the occasional HR.

Hopefully he hold on to the ball. He'll get 90 touches this year.

Seen McKnight kill the Irish every single year. They are like the only team this dude kills.

Massive underachiever in college after a magical HS career. Not worth dealing Leon for McKnight unless we are getting back a high pick.

Should have taken Reshad Jones IMHO. I actually do not like this pick but am trusting the Jets FO on it.

As soon as anybody finds out the trade details, please post them. If it was on ESPN, I missed it.

Former top recruit from HS 3 years ago I believe. Went to USC and really did almost nothing there.....outside of rape the mediocre Irish defense like he was Reggie Bush.

I wanted Ricky Sapp but I'm sure there's a bigger picture plan in play here regarding Leon Washington (would take a 5th rounder for him)

It was our 4th and 6th to move up for McKnight.

This guy can be a fourth receiver on the field. A possible Wes Walker?

Huge fan of Joe McKnight! Gamebreaker abilities and with possible trade of Leon and LT gone next year, this is a nice move. Love his agility and pass receiving skills.

Don't like the pick at all. DL or OL should have been the pick. Seems like Leon may be on the way out with this pick and that's a shame.

wow they must have really seen something that made them make a call like this Cal Thomas was the obvious pick. I guess he will be able to help us and maybe develop for a year or so...at least we dont have to worry about injuries in the backfield now
