Hey everyone, weren't the Eagles interested in Leon? They have four fourth round picks..I think by getting McKnight we now trade Leon for maybe 2 fourth rounders to get back in the draft. Loving these moves.
This... is well about as fucking dumb as the posters who called last years trade for Sanchez giving up too much. We gave up a late round pick to jump up about 15 spots. Not too bad. Would i have liked Thomas......yea, but no one knows how Leon is doing in rehab/recovery, So this gives us a talented 3rd back in case Greene or LT go down. Its about depth right now and in the future. If we are going to run the ball 500 + times again we need two guys that can handle 200+ carrries or 3 capable guys.
I would think you are right, and I obviously hope so. I'm skeptical until I see it, but I don't know how MT could leave that value on the table with our positions of need (Thomas, Sapp, et. al). If we can move Leon/Clemens/BT and grab one of those quality guys, then I take it all back. It's of course possible there are things going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.
This guy has better hands than most receivers. McKnight has the ability to line up in the slot as well. This could turn out to be a very good pick, especially if Washington is dealth for another pick.
4th and a 5th would prob. be more appropriate. God, Alan Keels is a piece of shit. Sorry, he's fucking up Leon's livelihood IMO.
They tipped their hand with this McKnight pick. Now everyone knows they're trying to move Leon and no one's gonna give up more than a 6th. They should have traded Leon first, THEN made the pick.
