All he did was answer someone's question.

I don't know what your problem is, but you need to chill the fuck out.

Oh shit, it's only 12:30 for me. Try not to spoil the draft for me in the morning, I would like for it to be a surprise.

We used a 1st rounder on a project in D'brick.

That started off pretty rough but turned out nicely.

Like ur point here...About Gholston moving to DE. I been thinking to myself, what if Gholston finally comes to life ? Remember Bryan Thomas took a few years to come to life also. He has to be tired of hearing he's a bust. That can't make anybody feel to good. :breakdance:

I'm actually really excited to hear that he has shit technique. One thing that I keep on hearing about this kid is that he is a damn hard worker. So if he fell because of his technique, well that's something that I think Callahan and him can really focus on and fix. Plus he'll probably be working between two of the best linemen in the NFL.

Pairing arguably the best OL coach in the league with a hard working kid who has all the physical skills necessary to succeed is just a recipe for success.

    This is a great response.

People need to understand that Ducasse's only weaknesses can be easily fixed through coaching. He's got all the physical tools to be a great offensive lineman in this league.

Bill Callahan will turn this kid into a stud road grader.

I have to be honest I was not a fan of this pick because I thought he was a project, that being said I also wanted us to take Griffen but the fact that Griffen is still available 30+ picks after we took Vlad tells me it's a good thing I'm not the one making decisions.

The more I read about this guy the more it sounds like even though he is raw and is a rookie he is an upgrade over Faneca (which is hard to believe). I also have faith that Callahan will get thevery best out of this guy. It sounds as if all the skills are there for this guy to be a very good player in the league so I trust that it was the right move.

I never look at what school a guy attended, it really doesn't matter. If a guy can play he can play.

Think about it, there are quite a few HOFs that came out of small schools but I won't even list them because it's not fair but there are and have been some very solid players that went to small schools too. The Colonial Athletic Conference is one of the best in terms of 1-AA conferences and usually have at leas 3 or 4 teams in their top 25. Just for example Flacco, Westbrook, and Ihedigbo (also UMASS) are recent guys from the CAC. Our very own Wayne Chrebet was also a CAC guy.

BTW milestone post for me.... 10K which means I have way too much time on my hands.

Once Linval was gone, this was the player I wanted. I must have come down to picking between him and John Jerry. If Callahan made the call, I'm fine with it. Between him and Wilson, I feel like we drafted from the 12 spot in both rounds. We have 2 players that were in everyone's top 50.

Wasn't Ferguson an overall number 4 pick? That is hardly a project and the minute he was drafted it was said the Jets have thier LT for the next 10 years...hardly a project. Was he that good? No, but that's a different story altogether.

dorow got the ban? i liked his retard comments and arguing with him and a wierd way...

anyway, love the ducasse pick. hes definitely a good enough run blocker to take faneca's place. can he pass block? i mean when it comes to that just about anyone is an upgrade but it is something we need esp. since we are going to throw more this year.

I'm pretty happy with the pick. As people have said, all his problems are coachable and if the Jets want to have long term success, the offensive line needs to keep getting younger. Apparently they really like Slausson too so he could be Woodys eventual replacement.
