But Im alwys on here and reading things because I think this is the best Jets forum out there and Im die hard fan. But I just had to post this becuase Im tired of everyone starting to go crazy about us cutting Faneca. We praise Mike T for being one of the best GMS out there for all the good moves hes made this offseason and prior, even his draft record really speaks for itself. Yea no one can be perfect there are going to be VG's out there...yea Vigin@ Gholston who bust sometimes( get it) BUST lol. But seriously guys he done such a great job and now he cuts someone becuase he thinks its makes the team better we have to roll with it. Thats why we are not GMs' obvsly they know something we dont. Like someone is ready to step up and be better than an aging Vet. Everyone is talking about chemistry and this and that, dont you think as a GM and Rex as a head coach and the whole orginization thought about this, so all im saying is just trust them. We should at least give them that benefit of the doubt after having a great yr last season and knowing that there going to do the best thing for this team thats what they get paid for. Maybe they believe its just time to get younger at some point you have to do this. So fellow JETS fan lets be happy because this year isnt going to be great. Holmes, Cromartie, LT without using any picks and so far a good draft. Sorry for the rant I really am.

It's not degrading. It's actually the medically correct term for an anatomical part. Calling a vagina a vagina is not degrading. Calling a woman a cunt is degrading.
If you are sick and tired, I would suggest lots of bed rest. That probably means staying off the computer....
I'm not going to bash you, but I'm not sure what kind of response you were expecting when you started a thread to say this: It hasn't even been a full day. It's been about 2 hours since we found out Faneca was cut. How tired could you possibly be already?

okay lets cut him some slack...He is making good points about some people freaking out on Faneca getting cut. Truth is we there is probably alot more to this than what we know... Also the team has the best OL coach in the business, so i am sure things were discussed with him before we made the move.

First it was funny. Then it was horrifying. Then it was disturbing. Then it was boring. Then it was funny again. Then I got hungry. The turkey was a little dry. Then it was funny. Then it was over.
We lost Coles, Baker, K. Coleman, Elam, and Favre last offseason and I thought that would set us back a little bit. I'm not too worried about losing Faneca- he was arguably our weakest link on the OL and we just spent a high pick on a player that Calahan was high on. We'll be fine. I'll give Rex and Mike T the benefit of the doubt on this one.
