YOU IDIOT REX. You don't pass on Griffen here. I'm dumbfounded by that.

of course. he's studied all these players for months, you've read blurbs on a few websites, but he's an idiot because he didn't take the guy you happened to have heard of.

Griffen's own coach at USC Pete Carroll has skipped on him 3 or 4 times dude.

That alone tells you what is up.

Yeah I guess you're right, but Griffen is dirty. I can't imagine how good he could be learning under Taylor and, of course, Rex.

I'm guessing that's why USC players keep getting skipped. Kinda crazy given all the hype they get.

O-Line was definitely the way to go. I'm very happy. don't know who the fuck he is, but I'm happy.

That's a great point, Seahawks need a DE too.

I would have been happy with either Ducasse or Griffen given who was left on the board, and am glad that we grabbed one of them. I'm a bit surprised how far Griffen has fallen but then again perhaps the USC prospects are overrated given the way the draft board has been fallen thus far. With no 3rd rounder, I wonder if Tanny is done for the night?

Griffen wasn't picked by Carroll who coached him at USC there, so maybe that speaks volumes. They could use a DE pretty badly too..

since this essentially the same thing as the Ducasse thread

i called this pick back in late jan or early feb.

exactly who I wanted and what we needed for quality OL depth and the heir apparent at RT who could fill in at G if an emergency arose.

a mauler with surprising agililty for his size.

uses his hands well and will only get better with more coaching.

he only lasted this long cuz of where he played. point blank

Oh really? His college coach picking one pick in front of the Jets didn't pick him and that was his team's biggest need, get a clue.

with the way Tanny picks in the 4th round there is no way I would want him to trade up.

With a coach like Bill Callahan, that only makes this pick that much better. With a lot of options still on the board going into tomorrow, this has been a B+ draft for us so far. Keep up the good work, Tanny!
