That would be the one pick between those rounds, yes.

I would love Cody, I've liked him since the beginning of the draft period. I would have been extremly happy to have him at 29, but Wilson was the BPA.

I'd like to see us move up and keep our 2nd, get Cody and get a OL at the end, but I know that won't be happening.

I would love to see Eric Norwood as a Jet. Brandon Graham was my pipe dream, I'm getting this feeling that we may not address DL/LB depth till later. So sad... I blame, Taylor. :/

We do need OL depth too, so I can't bitch to much if we do infact go this route in RD2.

At this point I would like the next 2 picks to be a pocket collapsing D linemen, or a mauler for the o-line to play guard or RT.... unless there's a clear BPA at another position (safety? )

THIS!!!!! As a Gator's fan obsessed with a need to see Alabama lose or criticize their wins, I've watched a LOT of this kid's games. I hear so much about how lazy and out of shape he is, but he does come to play. He puts out a lot of effort. Hell, he blocked 2 important kicks in 1 game last year. I also think it would be awesome to have him WITH Jenks, who can give him some perspective on the importance of keeping your weight in check. I REALLY want Mount Cody.

If not, and we go OL, then definitely like Jones.

I can see us making some trades to add picks. Not trading out of the 2nd but a way to get back into the 3rd.

I'd be pretty happy with any of the DL/OL expected to go in the second round, unless the BPA is an OLB and we can't pass him up.

Terry Bradway is on with Brandon Tierney right now and said that the Jets have identified SIX players overnight that they hope to be there at #61 today.

He mentioned LB, DL, and OL.

He said that he doesn't see them trading up.

    LB: Norwood, Misi, Griffen, Sapp

    DL: Joseph, Cody, Carrington

    OL: Ducasse, Saffold

We're in good shape fellas. ...this is an incredibly deep draft class. I hope we move into the 3rd round.

If we don't take an OLB in the 2nd then I would love to see the Jets target this guy in the 4th:

    Daniel Te'o-Nesheim

The more film I see of this guy, the more I like him in the later rounds. He has the size that Rex loves and looks very quick off the line. Could be a decent developmental prospect to sit behind Taylor/Thomas this season. Big thank you to whoever pointed him out last night.

What about Cam Thomas or Lamarr Houston?

I'd love to drop back and maybe grab a safety in the 3rd or 4th in addition to an OG/OT (Major Wright? Myron Rolle? Reshad Jones?)

I'm hoping we take Griffin. The man seems to have the complete skill set.

Just about every 2nd round mock I have seen today has him going to the Buccaneers at 35. I really cannot see him making it all the way to 61, as awesome as that would be.

From the little I know of college football I really like Ricky Sapp, but would we need to trade up for him or is he likely to fall far enough? I'm also a big fan of Dexter McCluster as he's exactly the sort of back I think we're missing, especially if Washington does, but if it's at the expense of depth on the line I'm not convinced that McCluster's so good that we can't pass him up.

    Me either, dream on

Scott Wright has us taking John Jerry next. Don't know too much about him, but has a pretty good scout report.

I'm good with any talented lineman. (I'd prefer a defensive end over anything but I think a great argument can be made for a future nose-tackle or a guard)

Kiper has us taking Ducasse and Mcshay predicts Jerry. So ESPN "experts" believe we are going OL.

Fuck, now we're probably going tight end.
