I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Raiders trade Morrison today, now that they drafted McClain. They gave him a 3rd round tender and seemed willing to let hm walk if a team signed him....
I was talking to my friend whose a Giants fan saying right after they picked McClain you better hope Giants are on the phone with them now for Morrison.
Even though Morrison grew up a Raider fan, I'm willing to bet he'd be excited as hell to get out of there.
Well the added bonus is that Davis will cause raiderjoe to have a stroke. Can you imagine trading that 40 time?
Your sources are correct...here's video of the process in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umU8vKRNnRw -X-
Holy shit. Someone's 40 time just improved with that transformation. Crazy Al gonna be running some sprints tonight!
I've always liked Morrison, it's a shame he's been long forgotten playing in Jokeland but he can still get the job done.
This sort of confirms it or at least other folks are thinking the same thing. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/23/kirk-morrison-is-on-the-way-out-of-oakland/ Kirk Morrison is on the way out of Oakland Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on April 23, 2010 3:34 PM ET The NFL is often a zero sum game. So with the Raiders drafting their middle linebacker of the future in Rolondo McClain, their middle linebacker of the last few years is likely on his way out. Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune says Morrison will be cut or traded. He's due $2.51 million, which is going to be too much to provide depth. Perhaps Morrison isn't as good as his production indicates, but he can help a team. We'd think another team would give up a late-round pick for him. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Pats get him for a couple of their lower picks in this draft...
