Ok, i saw this started getting into the Kyle Wilson thread for who everyone was looking to pick up now in the 2nd round, so I thought it would be appropriate to have a separate thread for who we all hope or think the Jets will go for in the 2nd round.. trade up, stay pat, trade out of the 2nd, etc.

I happen to think Tannenbaum is gonna make a move and trade a veteran along with picks and try to move up. I wouldn't mind seeing a move up for Terence Cody if he falls a little bit in the 2nd.

I'm hoping they can somehow land Terrence Cody, the guy's a freakin blimp but I watched a lot of his games and he just makes plays nonstop. He completely dominated his competition at Alabama, blowing up offensive lines non stop...

Cody, Joseph, Thomas in that order. If we trade up I wouldn't mind Kindle but I don't like his injury bugs in college so I'd trust the FO to have investigated this.

Edit well it looks like i was a prophet just read the articles about him needing possible micro-facture surgery. Also saw below a name I forgot Troup is a guy I wouldnt mind

I want no part of Kindle.. he has a potentially serious knee injury and may need microfracture surgery supposedly. No thanks.

I'd definitely love some DL help, either Cody or Joseph, but we will have to move up a good amount to get either.

I can see us trading Faneca and our 4th and 6th for a high second ( Chiefs - fills a need or Buccs) , we will pick Cody or Joseph who is rising up boards and will no make it to us at bottom of 2nd . Then trade back out of the 2nd and pick up a 3rd and 5th and select OG ( Asamoah ) and DT.

I really believe there is something in the Faneca rumours that are around at the moment

I like Cody, Sapp, Carrington, and Joseph.

I have a feeling we are going to pick twice today. I'm not sure if we will trade up, down, or both- but I see us drafting 2 players today.

I agree.. I can't imagine Tannenbaum going all of day 1 and 2 without making some sort of move.

We have one pick between rounds 2 and 6. We could see Leon, Clemens and Bryan Thomas gone in order to get us something in that range.

Wishful thinking, but I hope it happens.

I don't know if it would be a wise move or not, but don't rule out using 2011 picks as trade bait.

Terrence Cody. I have a good feeling about that kid, and I hope he's available.

Though I'm hearing that the Jets may trade up to pick up a Plug-n-Play Guard.
