Hoping for in order: Linval Joseph Morgan Burnett Terrence Cody Nate Allen Vladimir Ducasse Cam Thomas Question: Do you think Lamar Houston can play 34 end? If so, I really like him as well.
Who are the DL and OL prospects us non-college informed should watch for??? Side not: is there another RB with the speed, change of direction and ability to make guys miss like Jahivd Best??? Because if he fell that far I wonder who is left.
I'd like a trade for an early second round pick. Take Griffen/Kindle and Hardesty in the second. We'll never do that but I would masturbate furiously if it happens.
I am totally psyched by the Wilson pick. I never thought he'd drop to us. I see this as our one hole going into this draft so now I have no idea where we go from here. Looking at your list, and who cold be available at the end of round 2, can anybody give me pros and cons on picking Eric Norwood at 61? Is he a good fit for Rex's system?
The Patriots have a ton of picks in these rounds. They will look to take a lot of Defense and probably 1 TE. If the Jets are high on a DE, they will have to move up...they will not fall in this round.
I'm curious what you think of Ryan Wolfe, Mayock has him in his Top 100 but I haven't seen anybody else really that high on him. I've ceratinly seen a lot of him the last 4 years and he will ceratinly go down as one of the best overall players in UNLV history (which isn't saying a lot) but after seeing him and Collie in person on more then one occasion I'd say Wolfe is was the better player. I think Wolfe would have put up ungodly numbers at BYU. His size certainly has me wondering but his hands are amazing and his ability to get open seemed to come at will but I wonder if the style of offense he played in hurts him?
I'm angling heavily toward the front seven in the second round, so any one of these guys would be my pick: Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas Everson Griffen, DE/OLB, USC Linval Joseph, NT/DE, East Carolina Lamaar Houston, DE, Texas Koa Misi, DE/OLB, Utah Eric Norwood, LB, South Carolina Ricky Sapp, DE/OLB, Clemson Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama Cam Thomas, DT, North Carolina
what do you think the Patriots are going to take all de? I think that would be stupid, but if thats the case so be it.... Jets will be fine at 61, look what alue happened the last time we let the draft come to us? We ended up with Kyle Wilson. Just let the board fall into our laps, someone of will be there! Keep the Faith
No probably a DE and 2 LBs positions similar to the Jets' needs. All I'm saying, the Jets may not be as lucky in round 2...I hope I'm wrong.
I agree, it's time to load up on the DL (or maybe a OL if the value is right). However, if Tanny can find a buyer for Leon and/or Bryan Thomas (in exchange for a Pick(s)), I'd like to see us snag McCluster, and then, after getting him, focus on trench depth for the remainder of the Draft.
I have no f'n clue what they'll do, but it'll be fun to watch. They may need to slide up a little if they are targeting a particular player. I'm wondering if they sit tight for the first few picks and see if a lot of the guys they had on their board start disappearing. If they do, they might move up before its too late. Who knows, we might have another talent fall right into our laps again without giving up anything.
1 DE, 1 LB, and one receiving option. At worst, I think the Jets walk away from round 2 with a great OT or FS prospect if they cannot find a LB or DE they like at 61.
I don't know that he's too small, I just don't think he has much technique. He's really not much smaller than James Harrison or Clay Matthews, and both succeed in the scheme. I'm more worried about his lack of strength relative to his size. He could still end up being a Clark Haggans type, and depth is important. I see him dropping. I really don't know why there's not more interest in Daniel Te'o-Nesheim. The guy has production, workout numbers, and versatility. His grade continues to puzzle me. -X-
They also need a WR. Moss is on his way out and Welker is beat to Hell. One of their picks is going to be a WR. I'm guessing Golden Tate.
