I think 2 of 3 is reasonable, though I see potential for a sweep. Game 1 I expect to win pretty handily. Game 2 should be a really good game that I think the Yankees will win. Game 3 is going to be a laugher. A combined starting ERA over 15?

This is a different Angels team than the Yanks saw last series. They went on a fucking tear after they lost the series w. NY

This will probably be a lost series...but then again my prediction suck.

I'm not worried about the Angels. After us they swept Toronto and then took the first 2 of 4 against the Tigers. Not exactly impressive.

I actually think this may be a tough series. No matter how either team is playing going into the games, tha angels are always a tough win

I think we take the first 2 though

Let's hope we don't make Joel Piniero look like Cy Young out there again.

I thought gardner and swisher both made poor plays in the field

21 pitches and 1 run is not an ideal start for burnett, but not too much harm done.

Eh. I don't think either one was played poorly. They were just tough plays. Should they have had 'em? Maybe. Probably. I don't know.

But I'd stop short of saying they were poor plays or that they botched anything.

with the speed gardner has, I think he gets poor jumps on balls sometimes. And his angle on that one was a bit off. Swisher had the ball in his glove.

Eh. His jump on that one seemed fine. If it was a bad angle, it wasn't by much. Played perfectly? Maybe not. But, like I said, I'd stop short of calling it poor. That was a tough play that pretty maybe 5% of LFers even get close to in the first place.

Right. It was in his glove on a tough play. Hit his glove, so I understand the "should've had it" angle... but like I said, I'd stop short of calling that a poor play.

In any case, Gardner made up for it with that hit, and the run scored. Now we just need A-Rod to come through.

    ETA: And he does!
