Taylor Mays?

    I'll admit that Im not really a college football fan so im going to ask you guys that are college fans, what do you think about Taylor Mays? I've heard some pros and cons about him, but Who do you think will get him? Do we have a shot at getting him? Do we want/ need Him?

    He's a liability in coverage. I'd rather target a player in the 4th round if we want a safety.

    I've heard Taylor Mays is the best overall player in this draft...don't know why he's slipped this far.

    His college coach opted for another safety over him. That should tell you all you need to know about him. Unless we convert him to olb.

    Well I was actually being sarcastic. There is no way he'd ever get off blocks at the pro level..........Hell you're right lets do it. Can't be worse than mount vernon.

    Maybe if he falls to the 4th, I'd consider it. Where is he gonna play? He can't cover, get off blocks, takes bad angles, and so on. Physical specimen, poor player.

    He seems to be another version of Kerry rhodes. I rather get a more physical guy at safety. That being said im happy with Brodney Pool.

    I think the similarities end at athletic freak and poor technique. Taylor Mays is at least a motivated football player.

    He's already out of the 1st round. I know what he was once projected at, but I don't think you can slap the bust label on a guy who might not even get drafted until the end of the 2nd round. I think a lot of pro scouts feel the same way about this kid, or he would have been drafted last night.

    No, that's not correct at all. Mays is very physical, that's not his problem.
