This is a dream come true for me. He was the 1st player I wanted for the Jets this year... you always remember your first right? Well, K-Dub 1 was my guy and I never thought he'd be here, so I gave up the ghost and looked towards other guys. I can't believe this.
I'm going to go with "yes". The Patriots have 5 picks in the second. There is going to be some competition for the available 3-4 players and both teams need pass rushers.
the Pats defense will be stocked in 2012. Fuckin 2nd rounders all over that D that can play and play well.
As soon as I saw the trade for them I said "Holy shit Kyle Wilson might still be there". I thought for sure Wilson was the pick after Bryant got plucked out form under them. Thank You Denver. We should write McDaniels a nice letter for that one.
As someone who has repeatedly advocated taking a CB :breakdance::breakdance::breakdance::breakdance: this is fucking amazing, amazing value at 29. I just got back from the draft. I was so nervous that entire time we were on the clock, I even started a "We Want Kyle" chant with my friend. The offers coming in must have been ridiculous--good thing Tanny does what he always does and stick to his guns. So happy about tonight, so, so happy.
Since we are bringing up old threads...here's my Kyle Wilson thread started 3 months before we drafted him.
Lol at this comment. Just goes to show that you can't judge a team's future at all based on the quantity of their picks.
I am. He improved dramatically last year. He is working with Revis again this offseason, and I expect him to take another significant step this year. He finally has an offseason with his team, and coaching staff. He will be even better this year.
in his defense, they ended up trading two of those picks they picked gronk, cunningham, and spikes with the other three ... not bad at all
