nobody cares if you miss some punctuation or don't capitalize words. what we do expect is that you will break your posts down into coherent thoughts and place them in paragraphs for easy reading.
I am in my 20s and I don't think it is cool to represent myself like a fucking retard in any forum, no matter what the topic of discussion is. If you are saying that you're capable of writing properly but instead decide to spell words incorrectly, capitalize nothing and use bad grammar, that's just pathetic. Look at the threads that generate real discussion on this site. For the most part they are written with a little bit of care and thought. This spurs replies that usually try to reflect the quality of the original post to help carry on a discussion. When you clearly don't give a shit how your point is presented, and basically just vomit words onto a page, why should anyone reply seriously or give your incomprehensibe block of text any serious thought? You're in class when you write on the forum...maybe you should be paying more attention. Professors/teachers and the readings they assign might help you write properly...well, depending where you go to school I guess....
It's one thing to go around the board policing grammar. But your posts... they are almost not even the English language. I know you're posting from a cell phone, that was obvious, but nobody is going to give a shit about any of your posts if you don't actually put forth the effort to make them worth reading.

Dude - no joke - you really think that writing in your "efficient" way helps you get your points across? No way I am reading any more of your posts, considering you can't be bothered with using paragraphs, punctuation, or spellcheck. Incidentally, if you think that you'd last more than a week in a position at a company if you wrote like that in company emails or God forbid, in a document the public would read, you're kidding yourself. And stop with the "generational" excuse. There are plenty of people who fall into the 20s age group on this board who do not write like that. One more thing. We are not here to read your "text message" style posts. I'm sure you can correct your errors before you post regardless of whether you are posting from a phone or not.
I quite frequently type from my cell. I'd say Tapatalk now accounts for about 60% of my forum browsing and posting. It's really not that difficult to write clearly, and it really shouldn't require any extra effort. If it does, you obviously need a bit of that effort. If the English language presents difficulties for you, it would behoove you to work with it in any mode possible in order to better express yourself when you actually enter the real world after school. It can't possibly be that difficult to type "am normally in class when i am writing" instead of "r normally in class wen i am writing".
I actually think the OP got his point across very well. I took one look at the post and instantly figured out that he was trying to say, "I have nothing of actual value to contribute to the board."
I wanted to stop reading after the first sentence because it was not worth the effort of sorting through this block of shit. I felt like a proctologist. That's why grammar and spelling are important. Your point DOESN'T get across because no one wants to read it. A misspelling once in a while is not a big deal. I screw up as much as anyone. But this is ridiculous.
because you are attempting to communicate with others which requires you to do so in a manner that is fucking understandable, which spelling and grammar is a part of. why not just write in fucking Chinese, or make up your own language if not, or start rearranging sentence structure? the reason why you aren't is because you are attempting to communicate in a standard way but are either to stupid or lazy to implement the structure of the English language and want to put the burden on the readers. that fact that your point of the post is stupid to begin with only magnifies you lack of language ability. by your logic, if you are in an informal setting face to face there would be no need to speak clearly either and could just mumble or spout jibberish. no, people would tell you to speak fucking clearly. so type fucking clearly and stop defending either your ignorance, inability or sheer laziness and actually better yourself.
