While Atkins and Houston are both very athletic, I don't see either of them fitting into the 34 defense. I really like the Jones and Scott picks.
You say that like it's the U or something. Fran Tarkenton and Hershel Walker aside, not exactly the most storied history of churning out NFL stars. Appreciate Mo Lewis, though.
Selective memory is nice. Champ Baily, Terrell Davis, Guy McIntyre, and Hines Ward are borderline HOFers. Most schools have lots of misses but UGA has produced lots of good pro's over the years.
Four good seasons does not make you a borderline HOFer. Congrats, though. You went back 30 years and found an additional 4 solid Pro players. I'll even give you Jon Stinchcomb. You're about on par over the last 30 years with NFL powerhouse Stanford. Oh wait, nevermind. That would require ONE surefire HOFer in that time period and one fairly assured one.

He deserves a mention for his 2000+ yard season. 7500 yards in a 7 year career, however, does not make one a HOFer. Hell, Thomas Jones will likely finish his career with 3000+ more yards than him AND already has more 1000+ yard seasons. IMO, you need longevity to be a Hall of Famer. 3 great seasons makes you elite for those 3 seasons, not for all time. I do agree, however, that Bailey is surefire. I'll put my anti-TGA bias aside for that one. Congrats, Georgia is now on par with Stanford over the last 30 years. What a proud tradition, RebelMike.
He was a HOF player prior to his injury but I gotta agree, you can't just be the man for a few years. If that was the case I'm positive there would be noticeably more HOF players in Canton,Ohio. Essentially that would just water down what it takes to become an NFL HOFer. If Larry Fitzgerald god forbid had a career ending injury, does he deserve to be a HOF right now? Absolutely not. Definitely agree that not only do you need the production but the longevity to become a NFL HOFer.

The question was quality, not quantity. You went back 30 years, and came up with one HOF lock and a few solid players. I can top that that with Elway and Lynch alone. Oh, and lifetime? Stanford has 4 HOFers to Georgia's two. I'm not building Stanford up. I'm using the school to show how you're overrating UGA's NFL contributions.
