I think of him as the next Ray Rice, I believe he will be a huge contributor in the league for a long time. He will prove everyone wrong very early in the season.

Well, if you're just talking about him as a guy who was underestimated and outplayed his draft status, it's an ok comparison. I just wouldn't compare their playing styles at all.

    FYP. Makes total sense now.

I think I know where you're going with that, though. A not-so-perennial powerhouse (Rutgers, Stanford) produces a running back who leads them to uncommon success. The running back develops a huge college football fan following and comes very close to winning a major award. (Heisman, Doak Walker, respectively).

But the naysayers say "Nay, his skill set won't translate to the next level." The back slides in the draft, said skill set translates just fine and the rest is history. Is that the comparison you were making?

I understand, I was focusing on the pre draft evaluation, as a comparison, not fast enough, 40 times

    A white Ray Rice*

But seriously, no one else picked out the “a bowling ball with butter knives” line? What is he, Dewayne Robertson?

Can he long snap? That's really the only position where white prospects should play.

Not athletic enough. He's only really a potential NFL player at one position - Kick-off specialist.

Maybe not kick-offs, I don't like his long speed. Or his short speed. Or any speed of his for that matter. Probably can't jump either.

Holder? His instincts are a question mark, but with good coaching, he could be serviceable.

I think you're forgetting about Tim Dwight. Clearly he could both kick off AND return kicks. Two way player, just like all of those old school white players.
