SO far I have free parking and 10 autographed footballs. If you'd like one of the footballs refer a friend to buy one for $500 and I will give you a picture of the actual ball.
I gave up my seasons back in 02 when my oldest was born. And its still not the joke it is today. this is rediculous.
If you pretend you want a PSL they are sending out Draft Party for Club members tickets for tomorrow night. They will email you tickets. Downside is you have to go with rep to view seats and hear the sales pitch.
Even better they want to take you to your seat and compare them to some "best seat" remaining options. Funniest was seats 144 row 18 seats 3-4 and 143 row 24 seats 19-20 were mentioned today as best available in those 6k and 7.5k sections. Considering when you count in PSL fee those seats are going for under face on stubhub right now they must be quite a bargain. There is a reason they are available. When you eat two preseason games a year, can't give away the January game you would think you could expect to at least break even if you can't make one of the 7 good games. If I was in UD I would call day before game time to pretend I want a PSL and then go sit in that seat come game time. Oh really 20K section row 7 seats 3 and 4 are unsold? thank you. Now let me stick my gum under seat.
My first ever season tickets were 250 dollars a year back in 94. now i pay that per game almost. what a joke.
My 1st year was when they moved to Jersey and the cost for two tickets was $400. Leon was one of only two owners who didn't make you pay for the exhibition games. After 25 years of seniority, they offered me Club Seat Mezz at the 45 yard line. Cost this time was $10,000/year for the seats ($500/ticket/game including the crappy ass exhibition games) and PSL fee of $20k/seat. So instead of $400, I was looking at $50,000. They have since backed down on the ticket costs (last I heard, it was something like $395/seat instead of $500 and the PSL may be down to $15k). But the upshot is the same, unless you're making a seven figure income and you don't care about pissing away your money, the higher level PSL's remain a sucker's bet.
See my sig. 1979 - 4 loge seats, section 2 row J $9.00 each x's 8 games is $288.00 - For four seats for the whole season! No forced preseason games - primarily since the never played them at Shea. The Mets wouldn't allow it. Before I had season tickets I made my Dad take me to Yankee Stadium (true) for Jets pre-season games. In 1980 they may have gone to $11.00 per game. Not sure.
Hey has anyone actually been to Mezz B or have a picture from there. Just curious as there is so much talk that the section is empty and a big price cut is on the way.
http://s1032.photobucket.com/albums/a404/FDEMS/NEW MEADOWLANDS STADIUM/ Found my Mezz B pictures as well as 150 photos in one shot on this link. Bottom line last row EZ UD to first row MEzz B is a good improvement, otherwise what is the point of paying money just to move a bit forward.
Well, if you kept your seasons you could be paying $105 per game like I am without a PSL. What's wrong with that??? Only season ticket holders can bitch, you gave it up, I am sure for good reason, but you bailed pal. I can insult my sister, but you can't
My Dad got invited to the VIP club draft party being held for the suite owners. The other guy he had going could not going so now I'm going. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures, Namath is going.
I can remember in 1989 my old girlfriend's neighbor used to sell me his seasons at face, it was $22.50/ticket, $45/game to sit in the upper end zones.
If you browse Stub Hub check out how much tix are selling for for the home opener. In my section 3 rows back a guy has the tix listed for $799.00 each, they're $120.00 face. If the tix are getting purchased at those high prices maybe ROJF and his BIL have been right all along.
