If the JETS decide to stand pact and not trade up in the draft, with the 29th pick they should select Terrance "The Mountain" Cody. Finding a good NT that commands a double team is one thing, but having Cody and Jenkins on the field at the same time would make the JETS and their defense that much better, because they would be able to control the line of scrimmage with two mammoth sized men. With the signing of Jason Taylor, as much as it may upset many JETS fans, and Pace rushing from the edge and the two mammoths in the middle, the linebackers, especially Harris, will be free to make plays, and make Revis Island much better. Cody would be great insurance for Jenkins since he injury-prone but the JETS are going all out to make a splash this year and Cody can help make the JETS defensive line better and he even can help out with special teams at blocking kicks with his big frame.
My best friend lived across the street (Dublin, Ohio) from Dan Wilkinson. It was amazing that Wilkinson could afford a $400,000+ home before he was drafted by the Bengals. Something was shady!!
He probably can, but he's so athletic that it'd almost be a waste to use him in a 34 scheme. A team like Indianapolis is a great fit for Houston.
i think there are 3 ways to go with our 29th pick 1. Taylor Mays - kid is an absolute phenom 2. Bruce Campbell - Hes such a complete package at tackle i don't care how good we are there we would love this guy 3. Jerry Hughes - I know this is a little bit of a reach but I am in love with this kid he rushes the QB and we need that
just out of curiosity, are you being serious or kidding completely? I ask because while you only have a handful of posts, you might easily know about the running jokes with these players and the adopt-a-bust sigs that some of members have for Mays and Hughes... Or you might be brand new to the forum and have no idea about the opinions of the majority of the posters on the guys you listed... For the most part we aren't fans of them in Rex's system.
