who gives a shit about playing 3 divisional foes that early....the Jets are built like a powerhouse now....let's slap our opponents around. SOJ is dead, folks. Bring on the competition!! I can't wait for the season to start!
Regardless of roster changes we should have a shot to be 6-0 at the bye, which would be nice. None of the first 6 games are ones we should fear.
+1. Personally, I'll be happier to watch Ben get picked apart by the Jets' defense than Byron Leftwich.
Its one of the more Western-based teams in the NFL. Only like 5 teams are more further along the west coast. Am hoping Quinn(If he starts) does well but I would like the Jets to put a whooping on McDaniels
That's a rough first four games, but everyone said that the first four games in 2009 were rough as well. We'll be fine. I like my Jets football during the day on Sunday, but all these night games are the price of success I guess!
Gonna be a great season. This team is ready for whatever. Fuck the games Holmes will miss...this is our year.
Playing at home on halloween and thanksgiving i wanted to go to chicago but that is the day after christmas playing a monday night game on colombus day when i will have to take an extra day off tuesday.why couldnt it be a sunday night game so monday would be a holiday. Fuckin sucks the only thing i like about this is we are not opening against a division rival but yet we are playing all 3 in weeks 2-4
Yeahhh babyyy 10-6 here we come haha! I wouldn't complain with that record but lets see how the draft works First 6 weeks will test this club that's for sure, but our defense should keep us in each of these games, I honestly see us shinning after the bye, especially if we get on a hot streak at some point, that bye week is actually at the perfect time I like this schedule for this team, also count in several factors (Favre? Welker? NT Fergusen from the Fins) and we can pull off a lot of quality wins early, but it's not how you start it's how we finish
Week 1 - Ravens @ Jets MNF-W Week 2 - Pats @ Jets-W Week 3 - Jets @ Dolphins SNF-W Week 4 - Jets @ Bills-W Week 5 - Vikings @ Jets MNF-L Week 6 - Jets @ Broncos-W Week 7 - Bye Week 8 - Packers @ Jets-L Week 9 - Jets @ Lions-W Week 10 - Jets @ Browns-W Week 11 - Texans @ Jets-W Week 12 - Bengals @ Jets Thanksgiving-W Week 13 - Jets @ Pats MNF-L Week 14 - Dolphins @ Jets-L Week 15 - Jets @ Steelers-W Week 16 - Jets @ Bears-L Week 17 - Bills @ Jets-W 11-5
Much easier season for Revis as well. He's planning for Marshall as we speak so no worries there. He gets Ocho and AJ again and we know what he can do against them. Not worried about Moss at all. Calvin Johnson will be interesting to see.
I refuse to believe we will lose to the Dolphags this season so I'm discounting that one. And the Bears don't have enough on either side of the ball to beat us. Unless Hester pulls a Ginn and they win by special teams.
I'm not afraid of the first four games at all. We started strong last season, so I expect us to come out firing on all cylinders for the first four games in 2010. Plus, we don't deserve to win the division if we're afraid of playing our divisional opponents three straight games. That will be our opportunity to seize it early.
For everyone complaining about not having Holmes early, aren't the Patriots supposed to be minus Welker for this game?
