Tough Schedule...but at least the tough early games are home games.

    How apropos:

+1. Rex will have this team fired up for those games. No way he lets his team get embarrassed in their own house.

The big problem I have is this

We host the Vikings on MNF then are expected to hit the west coast 6 days later vs Denver then we get a BYE week.

Why not give us the BYE Week after MNF and then get the Broncos following that?

No cross-country road trips! Furthest West is Denver before the Bye.

I like that we're playing the Fins on SNF rather than MNF again.

Because the schedule making panel isn't composed of TGG posters.

    My Predictions:

    Week 1 - Ravens @ Jets MNF-L
    Week 2 - Pats @ Jets-W
    Week 3 - Jets @ Dolphins SNF-W
    Week 4 - Jets @ Bills-W
    Week 5 - Vikings @ Jets MNF-W
    Week 6 - Jets @ Broncos-W
    Week 7 - Bye
    Week 8 - Packers @ Jets-L
    Week 9 - Jets @ Lions-W
    Week 10 - Jets @ Browns-W
    Week 11 - Texans @ Jets-W
    Week 12 - Bengals @ Jets Thanksgiving-W
    Week 13 - Jets @ Pats MNF-L
    Week 14 - Dolphins @ Jets-W
    Week 15 - Jets @ Steelers-W
    Week 16 - Jets @ Bears-W
    Week 17 - Bills @ Jets-W

13-3 or 12-4 as I can see us somehow losing at the Steelers. At worst 11-5 with the Texans also pulling an upset.

too many night games...... they're exciting, but like others have mentioned, I like my JETS football sundays. especially opening day... all day at the bar. either way... the price of success.

Looks like I may contribute a few dollars to Keeping the Jags in jax on a few sundays.

I REALLY hope Edwards doesn't miss any time while Holmes is out!

Oh I know but it just doesn't really make much sense. I love that its on week 7 though but its just the worst time to throw in a West Coast game after a MNF on the East Coast with the BYE following.

Rest of it I can't complain.

No way we go 13-3 with that sched. Letdowns must be anticipated, the NFL is full of parity (sp?). 10-6, 11-5 if the defense is as good as last year.

Biggest problem that I have with this is Joe Flacco beating this defense.

So let me try this again, can the Jets not be flex this year because of 5 PT games?

Would have liked to see the Steelers early when Ben is probably suspended, but no big deal. There are a couple of things i like about this..

    - 2 weeks to prepare for a tough Packers team.
    - Close out the season with Bears and Bills.
    - 3 extra days to prepare for the Pats after Thanksgiving.
    - Holmes back for a Monday night game against the Vikings and their weak secondary.

how can you have us losing our first game on monday night, in our brand new stadium against rex's former team who disrespected him. if we can not get fired up and give it our all for this game then we are really fucked for the season

Totally agree. Our schedule is middle of the pack as far as strength goes. Dunno why people are bitching. NFC east will always have it worse. We got extremely lucky to play the NFC north and their clowns. The packers aren't an elite team (imagine our d against that o line) and the vikes probably won't have a quarterback again.

We got a great week for the bye. If we want to be an elite team lets fuckin show it!!
