    ESP what now?

NFLN. There is no substitute. If I didn't have Directv for Sunday Ticket, I'd have it for the NFLN.

If I had to deal with college cable, I'd be looking for whatever bar/friend's apartment had NFLN.

Last Season when ESPN announced the Jets trade to move up, it was anti-climatic. I was still stoked, but they were like "whatever, its just the Jets." I wish I saw it on NFLN when Eisen got all excited and the really got into it...

Eisen mentioned the Jets trade up about 5 minutes before it happened, and then when they made the trade he fed right into it.

    it was awesome.

It's tough. I like Eisen and the NFLN's former players (Sapp, Irvin, Faulk, Dukes...etc.). But I'm more of a Mel than Mayock guy and like Adam Shefter and Michael Smith for news. Yet Mort is annoying. I guess I'll be switching back and forth like I always do.

NFL network no doubt about it. Rich Eisen alone makes it a thousand times better. Watching him run the 40 was one of the greatest things I have ever seen.

    Who? Wha? Why???

Berman is the s***, and well know to be a Jets fan since he was a kid. How could you not like him? The guy's cooler than cool.

I chose NFLN because I like Eisen/Dukes/Mayock/etc., but mostly because I can't stand listening the way Kiper rants on about his prospect analyses, or, even worse, when him and McShay pull each other's hair on live television.

Berman is a former Jet fan...no more. He kisses the Buffalo Bills asses.

Berman has just worn out his welcome. His shtick is old as dirt.

I just remember before the Indy game he came on ESPN radio and was talking up Rex and the Jets, reminiscing about his days going to Shea stadium. Sounded like he still had a deep rooted love for the team. I also like on-air personality with Tom Jackson; they make a good team.

I agree Berman is more subded with Jackson. Jackson is a terrific commentator.

Berman was a Jets season ticket holder at Shea...he's moved on and doesn't root for the Jets any longer.

Rich Eisen still loves the Jets, but can't show favoritism on air.

anyone who actually has seen NFLN and can honestly say ESPN is better........get your fucking mind right.

fuck Berman, hes Madden with no credentials. hes the black guy from Police Academy without the talent.

Mortensen, Clayton, McShay, etc etc Kiper is the only one with half a clue even then I'm tired of the hair and although hes gotten better over the years, thats like 1 for 10 on broadcasters.

I thought NFLN would suffer a bit without Schefter, but turns out most of his insides were prolly fed to him from NFLN in the first place.

Jason LaCanfora is a douchebag but the news still breaks before most media outlets and thats all I really care about.

Plus people like Faulk, Mayock, Dukes, Eisen make it informative and entertaining. ESPN is neither to me.

Might meet up with some friends at a bar for it so I pray they have the NFLN.

I just switched from DirecTV to Cable (I know, I know....but they literally offered a half-price deal and I couldn't justify paying $60+ a month for NFLN).

However, I will be watching the draft at my brother's place, specifically to watch NFLN.
Their coverage is light years ahead, although I do like Schefter and was bummed when he left for the Disney Sports Network.

It's actually pretty amazing to me that there are people on this planet who are not bored and/or annoyed with Berman's look-at-me schtick. He's a fat, pompous jack-ass.

    Eisen>>>>>>any ESPN talking head.
    Mayock>>>>> Kiper and (especially) McShit.

NFL net by miles and miles.

Anything to keep away from McShay and Kiper at this point. ESPN has become football reality TV where these two fake assholes argue over things they know little about. McShay would do a shitty job in our 7 round mock let alone working for a NFL team. He's only emplyed because he has a knack for pissing off kiper no matter how stupid he sounds while doing it.
