What network are you going to watch the draft??? If you don't have the NFLN..shame on you. Get DirectV!! I can't stand Chris Berman. Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock are the best 2 reasons to watch the NFL Network.
Eisen and Mayock are both great, but ESPN has Adam Schefter. I'll probably watch NFLN with the sound on and then have ESPN on mute. When Schefter shows up, I'll listen.
That's not a bad idea..I could watch the NFLN Stream online with ESPN on the TV to unmute when Schefter comes on. Bahh screw that I don't want to rely on a stream for the draft.
NFL network is the way to go.. the guys on espn get annoying and are not even close to as informative as the guys on NFLN
I will say this, before 2009 ESPN had the better on screen graphics, but they changed it to look like the NFL networks which I am not in love with. Adam Schefter is just crazy good at his job, I dont know if ESPN will let him off his leash and let him call the pick before hand, but it makes sens to do so I will say if I have a choice between watching from my computer on ESPN 360 or NFL.com, NFL.com does not blow up my computer like 360 does. Now from presentation perspective ESPN has the worst post first round coverage ever, they just harp on the first round guys and then Berman is like "and some guys were picked" Meanwhile the NFL network actually understands how to show the draft and will have Mayock showing lots of different guys not just film of the first rounders
I just hope ESPN doesn't let Schefter tip the picks. We're going to find out in EIGHT SECONDS, we can deal with that. Let Goodell announce it. I've been muting Berman as he started to toss it to the commish for the past couple years, because he was doing the same.
yeah, basic cable at the college doesnt come equipped with NFLN anymore, so as a result it will be ESPN all the way... I still enjoy ESPN, i think its been getting better, and the fact they have Schefter should make things interesting this year... That said NFLN has been infinitely better from what I have seen
Mayock is the best analyst, and Eisen is a) a Jets fan and b) far more bearable than Boomer. NFLN is scaled down, bare bones, and a hell of a lot more analysis. NFLN all the way.
