Who said anything about not grasping? I understanding what youre saying. However, there are people in this thread who want to put all the blame on Mangini and there is just no way I buy that.

Except the only thing that Tannenbaum really did wrong was place value on a major point of TC and then listen to his head coach. I doubt Mangini was the alone in thinking that Gholston could be good but if you look at how he ran his FO in Cleveland with Kokinas you can figure out how much of a complete dick and control freak he can be. I wouldn't put it past him to be able to talk Tannenbaum out of a pick with almost no support behind him.

Well, looking at it at face value theyre not so bad. But when it results in taking a player like Gholston, then it's pretty bad.

Hence the new system and new HC. If Mangini wants to fight for a player then he can put his decision-making out there. Woody removed the decision making problem and Tannenbaum retooled the decision-making process.

Mangini is also a friend of Tannys.

Having a friend talk you into something is easier than the normal co-worker.

Mangini and Tannenbaum at lunch: Mike, drink the salt. Mike...Mike, drink the salt. Do it, it'll be awesome.

I wonder if someone tried to pass the cinnamon test.

    Shit is hilarious.

I'm fairly certain someone talked Herm into it. No documented evidence, though. I'm just going on probability.
