Howard Green signing...UFA speculation

Obviously the vast majority of people on here would want Bulger. We may be forced to sign Brunell before July 22nd, though. There's always a chance that the Saints offer him the June 1st tender if he doesn't sign before then.

 

It's clear who the FO prefers.

 

This is odd. Howard Green has been in the league for 7 seasons, but NFLLabor.com has him listed as a RFA with 5 accrued seasons...

EH - now I see, he has 5 eligible seasons accrued. He was a RFA that we didn't offer tender to. He has been in the league since '02 but he didn't play in 2005, and only played in 1 game in 2002. Not eligible for replacement under the F8P.
