I'm kind of tempted to compare Archuleta to Eric Smith, but I'm not sure if it's appropriate.

 

They're white. That's the only similarity needed to compare players.

Phew. That first part was causing me uncertainty. Now I know the comparison is apt. We really do have a lot of potential fullbacks, don't we?

 

who would be a better FB in our system, Taylor Mays or Toby Gerhart?

 

Tougher transition for Mays due to his lack of whiteness. Gerhart's a natural as a pasty FB.

 

Danny Woodhead. He out-hearts both of them.

 

Christopher Reeve's corpse would be a better fullback than either of the two.

I'm thinking the answer might be all of the above. Something about them says "pure athleticism", but their skin is so damn pale that they'd have to play FB. I say snap them all up and watch our lead blocking explode even after TR leaves.

 

After Gholston I don't see how they could draft a 1st round pick based on a guy described as "freakish athlete" again

 

I don't want Mays whatsoever........but I think he could have potential to be an impact player as a SS in Rex' 46 package.
