IT'S DRAFT WEEK. Without question the greatest week of the year. I liked it a little better knowing that it all came on the weekend and I had enough time to prepare, but I am pretty excited that I'm only four days away rather than six. OHHH MAN. What a great week.

Anybody have any plan brewing for the big days? I was able to unload my tickets for days 1 and 2 for 100$, and that money's immediately going into the food and drink budget for Thursday and Friday night. I'm thinking the traditional Chick-Fil-A tray of Chicken Strips for Thursday night with pizza waiting in the wings, then maybe try something different on Friday. Saturday I'll be at Radio City from about 6:30 waiting to get in and yell inappropriate things at Cris Carter. What do you guys have in store?

With this being on Thursday no one is doing shit this time. Everyone last year went to my buddies house had a kegger and 300 wings and like 10 pizzas. Great fucking day. Now I'll probably be stuck at home watching it by my lonesome. Fuck this primetime bullshit.

Last year they were getting food brought to them all during the show, so about 4 hours in, they left a tray full of muffins on the desk for the ESPN crew. They had cut to the Bristol group with Suzy Kolber or whoever and it was pretty quiet. So I got up and yelled "CRIS CARTER, ALL HE DOES, EAT MUFFINS." That got his attention, so I started yelling for him to throw some up, and he ended up chucking like 4 into the crowd. I kept the wrapper for a while, it was a proud day.

The year before we got Howie "Stump the Schwab" to give us his extra sandwiches and we got in a NFL.com fantasy football commercial.

My favorite week of the year.

I took the week off, I have plenty of vacation time.

I will be power washing and staining my deck sometime working around the draft.

We'll see how this new format works, so far I'm not thrilled.

My Brother-Law is going to come over Thu night he's Browns fan. We will probably get a bunch of Buffalo & BBQ wings and a couple of Italian Subs.

Friday and Saturday..I'll probably be alone to focus on the lower rounds.

Oohh... Subs. I like it, I hadn't thought of that. Could be a nice option for day 2.

I miss NY pizza, so I don't get pizza too often in Ohio, subs are a good alternative.

I have a pretty busy week, I got a friend from Turkey coming into town so I need to find a way to entertain him, I might have to sacrifice watching on Day 2

I might have an offer for some free day one tickets but I'm not sure if they are legit, but I am def going on Day 3

You took the week off! That's hysterical- I thought I was obsessed. Time is in slow motion right now. The days can't go by fast enough. I was hoping for that medically induced coma, but to no avail. I don't know what I'm going to do if we trade out of the first round, and I have to wait ANOTHER day before we pick someone.

Maybe thats why Tanny trades up every year-- waiting for our pick is just too much suspense.

This new format really has me shook. Go to work and then come home to watch the draft, only to wake up and go to work again...then come home and watch the draft?

    Weird.

You haven't been around long enough to realize that amount of passion I have for the NFL Draft. Green Hurricane, Mr Electric, Jabba & myself have been around this draftboard for 6+ years.....we are totally addicted.

I have 5 weeks of vacation a year, plus some personal days, so there is plenty of time later with the family.

Late April is a beautiful time of year. I usually take this week off to do a few projects around the house.....Cleaning gutters, mulching beds, cleaning out the garage..etc. This year I'm going to stain the deck....as long as the rain holds off. I will work my projects around the draft.....Draft is Numero Uno!!

The draft starts at half past 12 at night here. However I'm a student with no class on Fridays, and I have work to do so the draft is a great excuse to do an all nighter.

Over here in Los Angeles there aren't many football fans who can name more than a handful of players in the draft (Tebow, MAYBE Bradford or Suh, and Taylor Mays of course). I invited my friends last year and they had pretty much zero interest.

So I'll definitely be watching the draft alone this year with gang green open to read the hilarious reactions after we pick.

Me and my friend, who is a huge Giants fan, are going to ESPN zone in manhattan to grab some drinks and sit up close on the big screen.

I remember when we went to the 07 draft I was telling him I hope Revis falls to us. Then we moved up to 16 I started screaming we better get Revis and surely enough, we selected Revis Christ!!! The Giants selected Aaron Ross and he was saying how he's gonna be better bla bla. Fast forward 2 years later and now he's considering buying a Revis jersey while also joining multiple Revis Christ groups on facebook haha I love draft time!!!

And now he thinks Ross is a piece of shit.

I can't wait for thursday!!!!
