Well I still want Joseph, I think he would be a perfect fit for Rexs system, and Odrick is going to be long gone... and Hughes just won't cut it for us, so clearly the choice is Griffen at the OLB position. Good idea for a thread Jabba, should inspire some healthy debate on the subject.
I took Joseph over Odrick...because he's apparently the more versatile of the 2. But I wouldn't mind Odrick either. And the other 2.....no contest....Griffen was the choice. Jerry Hughes needs to slip in the shower.
I chose Odrick and Griffen. If Taylor doesn't sign before Thursday, I would go OLB in the 1st and it looks like Griffen could fall to the Jets. But the good part is that there's value in both positions at the end of the 2nd.
The DL vote is razor thin. The OLB vote is quickly turning into a rout for Griffen. I voted for Hughes because he was the more prolific pass rusher in college, but I agree with the majority that Griffen may be the better pro prospect with a higher ceiling. He's bigger than Hughes and more of a prototype 34OLB at the next level.
That's not necessarily true, MB. Joseph can play 34 end and 34 nose, while Odrick can play 34 end and 43 tackle. Rex Ryan loves to use a lot of four man fronts. Either prospect could play in multiple schemes.
I don't think the question takes into account if they are available or not...simply which one would you prefer between them.
