Awesome job! I would love if the Jets made this type of move in a trade-down. Love the Joseph pick, not so high on Norwood, though. Regarding Price, just the fact that 3-4 linemen are in such demand, I can't see any feasible way he makes it out of the very early 2nd round. Plus he can play ball. 63 seems a bit far down. The Tebow move doesn't make sense to me either. Why pick Tebow at 15 when he'll most likely still be around in round 3? If they're considering Tebow, they'd probably look to move down even further.

However, he would probably play significantly this year, so OLB would be much less of an issue (Even though I REALLY don't want him on the team and would much prefer a draftee). So if we get Taylor, a 2nd round pick on an OLB wouldn't be out of the question, but I think it's more likely to be addressed in the middle rounds.. Wouldn't be a bad idea either and Rex Ryan and co. seem to get the most out of defensive players (Minus you know who). I like this scenario and in my next mock I'd definitely consider it. A very valid point. Why would Cleveland want to trade ahead of a bunch of teams who don't need a QB? There's only one reason: Buffalo. They pick after Cleveland, but they are also in possible need of a QB (although personally I could see them giving Edwards another chance which may or may not be a mistake). They move up in fear that Buffalo will beat them to it and get their guy. Because after Colt McCoy, there's no good QB prospects until the 4th round or so. So if Cleveland misses on their guy, who they're said to like and would be a perfect fit, they would be in big trouble. So to ensure that Buffalo doesn't jump ahead of them and grab McCoy, the Browns do. Better safe than missing out on a potential franchise QB... Worth the 3rd round pick IMO if they like him, which they're said to a lot. This is another scenario I wouldn't be upset with, and like Pierre-Paul I'd consider it. But since the Jets get an opportunity to get more picks, they take it. Davis's character and work ethic concerns have become pretty significant and it could mean a huge draft day slide is possible. But he'd absolutely be on the radar on 29, especially since he'd likely have some time to get his act together as he wouldn't be an immediate starter. He'd have a great offensive line coach and perhaps the best offensive line in football to learn from, so it could be a terrific opportunity. This could also be a terrific opportunity to use a mid/late round pick on a developmental guy given the circumstances.
Brian Price isn't a 3-4 lineman, however. He's a 4-3 tackle - possibly a 4-3 NT and a great fit for a team like Indy, but I decided they bypass him this time arouns. And there is a VERY minimal chance Tebow lasts until round three... Some team will grab him in the 2nd. Plus, you know the Jacksonville/Tebow connection..
I know there's been word that Cleveland has some interest in McCoy but has Buffalo shown the same interest? I've heard more buzz around Tebow w/ regards to Buffalo more so than McCoy. If so, Cleveland really has nothing to worry about. Anyway great mock overall.
It's a long shot, but if Clausen were to fall to us (a la Aaron Rodgers, 2005) we could probably get some real good value for that pick.
Thanks. Well I haven't directly read that Buffalo is majorly interested in McCoy, but I have read that coach Chan Gailey prefers athletic QBs and Colt McCoy could be on Buffalo's radar. Being that could be the case, Cleveland could play it safe and get their guy. Plus, you never know who else wants a developmental QB who could start soon if needed.. (Pittsburgh, San Fran, or Kansas City could be wildcards, for example)

Anthony Davis would be an absolute steal with our pick. Unless Graham or Odrick were available, you're taking Davis in that situation. You take him, hope Callahan can coach him up, and say sayonara to Faneca after the year, and then make up your mind whether you want Woody or Davis at RT or LG.
Yeah, I like that too. Cutting Faneca in the offseason is almost certainly a financial reality, especially when you consider Mangold, Harris, Cromartie and one of the WRs will need to get paid.
Technically they do have one more season with D'Brick and another after that with Revis, but there's no way Tanny can start handing out Woody's cash to other guys and let Revis play out his rookie contract I wouldn't think.
I wouldn't be surprised if both Faneca AND Woody were cut after this season. I think there might be at least one future replacement on the roster now with Robert Turner, Wayne Hunter or Matt Slauson.. I expect an OL in the draft at some point this year too and pending value I could absolutely see it being the first round. I wouldn't be upset if they grabbed Anthony Davis or Mike Iupati. Another name to throw out there who is moving up boards and can play OG ot OT: Roger Saffold
Hunter is not a future starter. Turner is a decent option if there is no one else. It's too early to call on Slauson.
It would be smart to try to find an extension rather than letting him hit RFA or FA. Revis will be the top CB paid in the NFL. He'll be the top paid defender in the NFL. It may seems like a lot now, but in a year the kind of money he's going to demand won't seem insane. He is the best defender in the league, and a top 5 player in the NFL. The defense does what it does because of Revis. He's actually more important to the team than Brick or Mangold, and those two protect the one man who's more important than Revis. Luckily, all three will be signed.
This mock draft is...interesting though I gotta say Dorin Dickerson top pick in the second round. I like the guy as a prospect a lot and even I'm not sure I would put him that high EDIT: My Bad didnt realize it was the third, In the third round thats a solid pick
