Awesome post... if you watch him on TV like I do from time to time you see his bitterness so much better. It burns him up that the Jets are the big dogs in NY even though his team wona SB 3 seasons ago.
I don't even think Francesa is that much of a Giants fan either. He doesn't glow when he talks about them, and he never really admitted to being a die hard. At least nowhere near how he feels about the Yankees.
Forget that it was a brilliant move by the Jets because they didn't need to overpay for his services, that they didn't need to sign him long term and that he has no choice but to behave and put forth his best effort because of his rap sheet and FA status.
Nothing if Fatso would have said "Holmes is well worth a 5th round pick" He didn't.. He read through Holmes' rap sheet.... Leads me to believe that if the Jets got Marshall for 2 2nd rounder and 50 FRREAKING MILLION DOLLARS, Fatso would have hated the deal and started off just reading Marshalls rap sheet.

I get the same feeling. He's not a Giants fan like he's a hardcore Yankees fan. He likes and respects the Giants from the days when his then-buddy Parcells was winning Super Bowls with them. When Parcells was with the Jets, Mike was far more interested and complimentary of the organization.
Why do you guys even listen to this guy? I tried listening to him a couple years back but he's just so full of himself and cuts off callers all the time thinking he's some god given evaluator of people and teams.

we got robbed... idk whats with all the hate with ginn, without him we lose both games to Jets, or atleast 1. Yeah hes not a #1, but he would be a lot better without any pressure, and for a 5th, 49ers made a great trade
I was thinking about this. Although Marshall is a much better player than Ginn, he'll be hard pressed to do as much damage to us as Ginn did last year. It's about all Ginn ever did but he did it to us.
Francesa hates the jets cause they have a contract with 1050 radio and never come on his show.His ego is out of control..And he worships the yanks like how hard is it to be a yanks fan..In other news..I read an article about how woody bought the jets for 635 million and the past couple of years he did not make any money off the team.Until he reached a deal for the new stadium.Thats why I think that he made some big moves because the jets now have thier own stadium and they will make profit...So in other words the jets were restricted with there signing's and now can build a championship team...It might not be this year but soon they will be holding up the lombardi...Thats a big deal because between the pats cheating and us not being able to sign talent in the past ..It cost the team about 10 years of mediocrity.....
I heard mike fran say one time that he and parcells and tanny were cut from the same cloth.And later had to retract what he said cause he got a lot of shit from the listeners.. He likes to start the jet fans up and like we didn't know that the colts were to powerful to beat last year..Jet fans were just looking to have faith in there team and he abused the jets that whole week of the afc championship game...I like joe beningo better..
