    [IMG] vs. [IMG]

    Game 1: Friday @ 7:05 PM

    Wilson (0-0, 0.00) v. Sabathia (1-0, 3.46)

    Game 2: Saturday @ 1:05 PM

    Feldman (1-0, 0.00) v. Burnett (1-0, 3.75)

    Game 3: Sunday @ 1:05 PM

    Harden (0-0, 2.79) v. Pettitte (1-0, 0.75)

    ____________________________________________________________

The first game should be a good one. Feldman started off well and pitched decent last year 17-8 4.08 ERA.

Think the Yanks take this series too.

The game should get in tonight. I'd say a slight chance of a minor delay, but I'm pretty sure the game will go 9.

I also think we take the whole series.

I have tickets to this evenings game as well. Just picked up my Granderson Jersey Shirt after last nights performance.

Magnetic Schedule...think tomorrow and Sunday are both calendar days.

I don't know if there was anyone specifically saying they wanted Cano traded recently, but I remember rumors (and they were nothing more than that) the previous off season about trying to get Matt Kemp or Matt Cain for Cano+.

I love Cano, but I would have made either of those trades in a heartbeat, as long as the "+" wasn't talking about Joba or Hughes.

I was a big proponent of Cano for Kemp after the 07 season.

I don't know that he didn't "fit in" with this mythic "persona" of the Yankees. I do think he's childish though, and doesn't take the sport seriously enough. I feel like that rubbed off on Cano while they were together.

We can argue about talent levels (and comparing them to those we have ) all day. In the end, whatever his talent, it doesn't make up for Cano's talent if he was holding Robbie back.

Agreed. Especially at that point when I felt like Cano had come pretty close to his ceiling and wasn't go to progress much more. I'm very happy to have been wrong there.

By the way, how awesome would Hughes have been last night if the ump wasn't so busy being a douche?

Haha. Were Huhges' pitches more on-target than they were called? I had the tv on, but after the first two innings I was more listening than watching while doing other things. I thought the umpiring was pretty decent early.

BTW: The home plate umpire last night? Joe West.

Really? I thought it was Jerry Layne.

Also, did my k zone image not show up? Or is it just my phone not letting me see it?

Hmm. Here's another shot at it. This is the strike zone Hughes got last night:

Looks like this one is in the bag.

Sabathia looked pretty awesome, considering the conditions.

And I love that Gardner can steal a base even when they pitchout.

Sabathia may have even pitched better than he did in his 1 hitter. He has gotten over his April slow start problems..I guess he gave them to Teixeira whose are now twice as bad as they ever were. .083 and falling like a rock.

Wow Sabathia got fucked last night, he could have easily finished the game with 10 strikeouts he was dominating
